Getting back onboard the Marella Explorer I experienced the Great Musical Afternoon Tea which was full of surprises, fantastic songs and incredible treats.
Dinner was in the Pan Asian Kora La which I had an amazing curry before heading to see the show, Rockology which was packed with classic rock bangers from the 70’s and 80’s.

Yes, the British Empire was built on Afternoon Tea. It’s the perfect way to spend some time while out at sea.

This would be right up my alley! I wish that all cruise ships did this. How fun! Love that they played Be Our Guest! Those tiers are beautiful! I agree, so beautifully presented. So nice to have entertainment throughout the tea too. "Weren't you just eating?" doesn't matter on a cruise even if there wasn't a gap LOL! Your dinner looked so good. Rockology looks so fun and vibrant! Another fantastic video as always :)
Afternoon Tea is a regular occasion onboard British cruise ships, you’ll have to try one of them out.

Wow what a day of food, that afternoon tea experience looked excellent, food looked tasty, I will have to head onto marella just to see if it matches Cunard.
The food was so good, I was completely stuffed after all of it.
I think it’s a very different product to Cunard, it’s more akin to the pre-Britannia P&O ships.

That was a lot of food for afternoon tea! We were both saying, how the heck did you manage to eat dinner (even if it was hours later). The show looked fantastic and loved a bunch of those songs.
Ha ha, luckily I had a plan which is why I had only had the bizarre sliced pork on toast earlier in the day and I’m not a cake fan.
The curry was absolutely amazing, I could have eaten that all night.
The show was so much fun, shame I couldn’t show more but it is what it is. Many thanks for watching ☺️
They would need a wheelbarrow to move me around after all that food at the high tea 😅. The evening meal was interesting, I cannot say I have ever had a mix of Japanese and Indian food in the same meal. Did I recognize some of the singers at the show as those servers singing at the high tea ?
I didn’t eat much the day after, way too much food. The Kora La menu was a bit out there but the curry was delicious.
Yes, they were the wait staff plants who suddenly started singing songs from the West End 😂
We were on the Explorer Xmas Cruise. Had the best time EVER.

@@debbieball900 it’ll be nice to compare the ships, I’m on Explorer 2 in a few weeks and I’m looking forward to seeing how different that is.
We are on Explorer next month for a Canary Island cruise, this will be cruise 14 would have been more but for Covid and other health issues looking forward to it.
I get that, Covid had such an impact. Have you been on Marella before?
