On the Reddit post for Cleo it was brought up the Cleo’s outfit is inspired from a lesser known style of Egyptian dress. And that is why it’s such a unique form.
Yeah very torn. I appreciate the explicit historical Egyptian influence, still feels a little weird.
I can appreciate that, I love when they take inspo from the ghouls’ cultural backgrounds but I unfortunately still think the skirt is ugly 😔

If they wanted to keep the silhouette, then I think they should of given her baggy pants(almost like hammer pants) for better pose-ability.
Even though this doll isn't perfect, I think I like it better than the De Nile sisters 2 pack because at least the gold dress on this one has texture and some layers, while the other one was just...printed on and not in a good way. Also, I think you're right, Courtly. This doll would serve better as a Scaritage theme. If I just picture this doll without the silly snowflake prints and the Christmas bow ties on her wrist, it would be a fine doll.
For what it is they should add some more painted details.

I just got her today and absolutely one of my favorite Cleo’s to date. Love the Art deco 1920’s theme. Her stand was hard to put on because of the dress underneath the skirt but overall great doll.

The skirt looks like it's the same fabric as Monster Fest Cleo's jacket? Also you can sort of see on the prototype that the top is actually a minidress, so maybe you can just take the whole giant skirt off. Sounds like a lot of people will be doing that if it's possible.

IMO could have just used more than a gold color. I do like the skirt and what she has on her arms. But then again, the only one I've wanted so far was Clawdeen but I don't think this one is terrible. I feel if they were going with that much gold they should have taken the teal out.
