Love it that you have the 1/1 as well. No better reason to build a rig! Really enjoyed the narration as well. Cheers!
I'd like to lift mine and get it on 35s at some point. Triple locked IFS is big $$$. I'm always torn on whether to just let the truck make noise or ramble on for ten minutes over the top of it. Thanks for the encouragement.
Hello,
Another great adventure from you! 👍
Greetings Seven🖖
Thank you, my friend. Thanks for watching!🖖😎
Great looking build. Here watching…
Thanks and thanks! Waited forever for someone to release a SCX24 Gen 3 Tacoma. Had to make my own!
I Lowered mine today, Adjusted the shocks. Oh and put the Metal rims and Soft tires back on it. Back to my 3 wheel spot Tomorrow. Saving up for scx24 but someday i want better rims an tires for my WPL. Mean time it is FUN Driving.
Check out Raw RC Footage and see what he uses. He's big on modding C24 trucks. You could check out what he uses. I'm really surprised someone hasn't come out with a decent brushless system for the WPL stuff. It seems that would really do incredibly well.
I Love that style of the Toy.... Great Little Rig. Man it can climb. Funny i been thinking about putting my straight axels back on and Take off the Portal axels. Just been playing with it last few days. It is so smooth.
It's crazy how the Tacoma has changed over the years. My 2018 is my 4th Toyota truck.
Portals are a different beast. I prefer straight axles on almost everything at this point. This just happened to look really good with them on it. It just lacked in performance.
Definitely looks the part on portals. Looks good either way though. I have a portaled out island style Liftup that I just allow to be what it is… hahah😅
I just ordered a set of nylon X15 two days ago and a new NanoBAM for another build. When that gets here, I'm going to move some stuff around again, I think. I really did like the way it looked, myself. Do you know what brass wheel weights work work with those Mofo portals?
@@VermontScaleCustoms for the nylon ones, the Mazz Designs brass kit fits those. He sells the same type and CVDs for them. Not a lot of weight from those, but Akers makes solid brass Marauder weights that friction fit on the oval shape portal boxes. As long as you are running a rim with good rear clearance you can run those. (Used them on my UAF 6x6 & Injora Roo builds.)
Fun to see something totally different. Thanks!
I tried a couple of years ago to build a 2018 3D printed access cab. It arrived broken. Took another two years for these to hit the streets. There's an actual 24 scale coming sometime but who knows when!
3D printers are not all that expensive if you want to expand your options. There are lots of options both free and paid. I’m building the MORRVAIR now with files I purchased and can use as many times I want. There are also tons of files for accessories like shock mounts and sliders. It can open up a whole new aspect of the hobby. I’ve had real good luck with my printed bodies holding up. Thanks again for your great videos.
Thank YOU for watching and commenting. 3D printing is yet one avenue of this hobby I have not wandered down. I've been spread thin with so many rigs and have, admittedly, such little focus. I don't know if I have time to dedicate to it! I know it really changes the hobby for people who get into it. And I could probably just as easily be working on my own mod parts for things. All said, I'm probably just too lazy and instead search for endless excuses about why I'm not 3D printing, lol!
@@VermontScaleCustoms I get it. It does have a learning curve. You’ve comment on my videos too. Thanks for that. Have a good one!
