Super loved this book! and think if you love heart retching romance with a still happy ending (happy in my opinion), 100/10 would recommend! I'm such a big fan of "he fell first"/"childhood friends to lovers". maybe because it reminds me of the fact that me and my husband grew up together. but let me know in the comment what your favorite tropes are, and of course, always looking for more book recs!

I actually saw an interview with Tillie talking about how she originally wrote that he passed while on a dangerous photography job in a war zone. But then she deleted it because she wanted it to be more mysterious

I read this book and by reading I just can't stop crying and the end of book just killed me 😵😵😵😶‍🌫️😭😭😭😭 I'm happy as soon as Rune could rich his dream also maybe that he dies early nice because in my view if he l live long life it will be torment 😮😢

Yeah, this book to this day is one of my favorite reads of all time! it made me feel so many complex emotions, and that ending although sad, helped put my broken heart back together again just a little haha.
