I dont buy solely based on GSR, but I do take it into consideration. My grey area is between 70 and 79. below is a gold buy and above is a silver buy. In between is whatever I just want and dont normally have at a reasonable premium for the time.The only exception is when i have a partial tube that needs completing of and silver or long term work on a current gold tube. Yeah, pretty much what ever seems cool to have or accomplish at the time.
That's about where I'm at right now. Thinking about shifting towards gold merely to the fact that coin shops are already overloaded on silver. So if something really happened I think good could be more liquid in my area
@@VegasStacker702 Hypothetically you could have taken an ounce of gold @1250.00 (2017) traded it for 120 ounces of silver (March 2020) and traded back for 1.5 ounces of gold today. Your cost 1250.00... today worth 3600. This is a perfect world of course.yes I did not include premiums to keep it simple.Unfortunately I was only able to do the silver for gold trade and was not really paying enough attention and thought to trade gold for silver when the ratios were 120:1
You can't always time things correctly. I just wish I had started stacking then. 5 months in and I'm addicted
@VegasStacker702 as long as you don't refer to any of your coins as "my precious," I think we're fine.
Have you been to the Las Vegas Coin Company yet? Looks like a nice store. Before I flew home Monday I went there but was closed for Memorial Day
If it's the one on eastern they didn't have much for coins the couple times I went in there. More nick nack type of stuff like Coca-Cola signs and stuff like that. I almost stopped in there today to check and see if that had changed but didn't have time

Good video, I sure wish I would of grabbed a 1/4 oz of gold about 6 months ago when I was looking into it but I was still in the beginning of starting my silver stack and just thought silver was cheap & way under valued . Maybe I will splurge one day😊 but for now... keep STACKN 💦⚓💦
Either way you can't go wrong. Silver just took a big hit
