I give credit to Josh for maintaining patience while media keeps asking him about something he probably doesn’t think about either.
I compare it to Cole Beasley. He was always the go-to get out of trouble, reliable guy. Then he "left". Amazing that the media didn't miss him because of politics. Even though I recall him hoisted on shoulders in the locker room for his bail out play. Now it's Diggs. I fine with moving on. Been there, done that.
Even without Stefon Diggs, the Bills are still looking solid. Josh Allen is great at spreading the ball around and extending plays, so the offense should stay pretty unpredictable. With no dominant personalities like Diggs, the current receiver room is more balanced, which should lead to better team performance and unity. During training camp, the wide receivers have been impressive. Keon Coleman has made some highlight-reel catches, including a couple of touchdowns on the first day. Curtis Samuel has also shown his versatility and speed, making him a valuable addition to the lineup. With these performances, the Bills’ receiving corps looks ready to rise to the occasion this season.
Bass and Cook are MAJOR concerns because both have ongoing patterns that we know about and have for awhile now. Hope we address it prior to games that count
Are you serious? Cook is about the least of our problems other than Josh Allen and the O-line. I don’t get the negativity around cook, sure he’s had drops. There’s an argument to be made he’s our best skill position player

@@largemouthhunter5014 Cook was a pro bowler last year. No he’s not perfect but he’s the best back we’ve had since shady McCoy. Bass on the other hand was horrendous last year and costed us multiple games

Diggs in Houston- reports are, he’s the best player on that offense. It’s a story bc we traded him for basically nothing and took a big hit on the cap. Plus, Bills wrs on paper are probably competing for worst in the league.
I would hope the receivers all strp up in a big way all season long! I feel we're due for a batch of badasses for once.
It's funny how Josh Allen misses Diggs considering all of the dropped passes from Diggs. None of which was more damaging and costly than the dropped pass when Diggs was WIDE OPEN on a what would be a go ahead TD in the AFC Divisional round against the Chiefs that would've WON the game for the Bills. Instead Diggs choked, dropped the pass and as a result the Bills lost by 3 to the Chiefs. Diggs is a playoff choker.
This team would have been so much worse than they were since 2020 if they never traded for diggs. Get a grip on reality

Mike, if you remember though, Barry Sanders had a fumble problem too. Cook has a chance still to become great, he really does need to get it figured out.

Diggs was a ghost in second half of the bills season in2023 and he was taking himself out of games dropped 2 big passes in the playoffs vs chiefs diggs wont be missed
….And oh yeah, on top of that Diggs caught 107 passes for over 1,100 yards and 8 TD’s. What team would ever miss that kind of production, right? Thank goodness he’s gone to Houston to upset them with his usual 100 plus catches. Who needs that??

I Wana see josh play too but this is year 7!! We know who he is. He better not be out there for a meaningless preseason game. We got a extra week of football now to let him use week 1 as his get right game. He will be fine and if we make the playoffs he will be even better. Best QB in the NFL. If not for McDermott blowing that 13sec game josh would probably have 2 rings by now.

If I remember correctly, Dawson Knox also had issues with catching the easy ball in his rookie year. I believe he enlisted somebody's help in the off season, to work on his hand/eye coordination, and reduced, if not eliminated the issue.. Maybe Cook could benefit from this.
Honestly, I've been concerned with Cook ever since he was drafted. He NEEDS to improve on that before the coach, coaches start to lose confidence in him, if improve on that ohhh boy, something beyond special. Go Bills 👏 🤘 💪 and great Job guys as always 👏 👏👏
I would like to hear more about Davis, how are his runs, what are they asking him to do, how is his route running, I heard he has really good hands. Because he sounds like a mature hard working dude. The kind of player McDermott loves. Does his skill set match his work ethic?
It's going to be an interesting season. Lots of big names are gone. I don't have a good feel for where we will land in the division. I fear we may be behind Miami and the jets. I want to be wrong but I don't see the confidence we typically have going into the season. Will still be cheering them on. Go Bills !!

Wish I lived in the Buffalo area to meet you guys! And I'm more right than Dan is.
I don't know that the risk outweighs the reward. Obviously there's a chance of injury, but that's football. Last year we saw what happens when Josh has minimal preseason games - 3 interceptions, 5 sacks, and losing to the lowly Rogers-less Jets.
Don't play Josh in the preseason means game 1 of the regular season will be his preseason, he's just as likely to get hurt (if not more likely because he'll play the whole game), and it's more likely to be a loss where Josh looks bad.
IMO, play Allen 1/2, 1/4, 1/4 in the 3 preseason games.
ABSOLUTELY Cooks drops are concerning. Look at the Philly game and the KC game in playoffs. If he doesn't drop either of those then the Bills go on to win
How can you not "miss" an elite receiver. It doesn't mean that the Bills can't prosper and even be better.

Over the last 10 games last year Shakir had 37 targets 462 yards , Diva Diggs had 83 targets 422 yards.....Diggs won't be missed as much as people are saying
We will get a good piece for Stephan next year, and some cap relief for Josh and Groot's contract extensions.

Brandon Aiyuk reportedly wants out of the 49ers and if the Bills wanted to can trade for him but for some reason are not willing to make the trade. Aiyuk would be the perfect replacement for the departed Diggs as the Bills new number 1 go to receiver.
He will be too expensive. He wants WR1 🤑💰 money and we just got under the cap. Makes no sense to trade for a guy we won't resign. All of our receivers except for Shakir are 6'4 or taller with good speed
I am very concerned with Tyler Bass. Everything looks hard for him going on a full year now.. I mean he is shanking kicks 20 - 30 yards wide of the goal posts.

Okay for those who don't think that it is smart for our players to play in the preseason I want you to just go look at the players who don't play in the preseason and start the regular season look at the injuries on them teams look at the sloppy play and how they really don't get it together until the fourth game right where players who play in the preseason even if it's a game even if it's a quarter first four downs no matter what they always come out fresh they're not tight that's what you want regardless if they're seasoned or not Aaron Rodgers he's pretty seasoned he didn't play not one preseason game and he tore his Achilles the first game because his body was tight he wasn't loose at all he hadn't took a football hit and then he wants to go out the first game like he's been playing all year I think we should have our players play one series I think the defense needs to play two to three series just my thoughts

Those are the stats that the current Bills receivers need to combine to accumulate, IN ADDITION TO their own stats they did put up last year, other then # 0 of course, being a rookie. Mock Diggs and his sideline tantrums and late season fall off in production all you want. Numbers simply don’t lie.

@@duaneduncan2380 Diggs already cost the Bills 30 Million THIS YEAR In Cap space. His full bonus hit the Cap in 2024 so no there is no Cap space to sign a high dollar dude this year. I think they still have about 10 Mill this year but that is probably reserved for a mid-season emergency like Douglas last year. The Bills have a lot of players they will want to resign that will be very expensive in the coming years..... Brown, Bedford and Bernard, Shaker etc...

Especially in big time game winning scenarios. Let him go and move the hell on, why are we clinging too a kicker? We don't owe him anything, if anything he owes us fans a few very clutch field goals...Cook i'm not worried about , this is the time to make those kind of mistakes and im sure he'll dial in his ball security before the start of the season, he's a solid back he'll pull it together and if he doesn't theres 2 other guys one being a rookie with tons of potential to fill in.

No country in NATO wants a draft or the expense of a large military. The US cannot afford a draft. The US economy and stability at home cannot take or handle the loss of US soldiers in a foreign war. Russia today is not the Soviet Union. Russia today has the spiritual back bone and national pride and identity which has historically been present in previous wars and struggles. This was the same identity and character and back bone that forged the Red Army and made the Soviet Union the key contributor to the fight against Hitler and the N@zis.
