Yamcha barely ever got close to him purely once due to goku's hunger. Tien though for real gave him competition.

Everyone did start out as a rival or a villain for Goku. Martial arts wise. Krillin was his rival and fellow pupil to Roshi, and Krillin was a jerk back in the day lol. Yamcha was a desert bandit and led a life of thievery until he lost to a hungry Goku and then he turned his life around. Tien used to study under the Crane school, and had very underhanded methods of doing things, including breaking Yamcha's leg just so the poor guy couldn't get back up. And everyone knows PIccolo's story more or less. So everyone who's a fellow martial artist like Goku was initially his opposition.
Jiren should have been erased by Zenos for trying to attack the stands honestly

Nah, it's completely fine to attack the stands, what is a rule-breaker is attacking someone FROM the stands. Frost got erased for attacking when he was already eliminated, but 18 didn't get disqualified for attacking Shin in the stands, and 17 sent someone directly to the stands, making them fall on their kai.
Attacking the stands doesn't affect the tournament, therefore doesn't spoil Zeno's fun, therefore no reason to erase him.
There was no rule saying it was wrong so technically he could have gotten away with it unless and it was confirmed earlier if a fighter already eliminated dies the killer receives no penalty

He isn't though. Everything Goku's done it wasn't because he was trying to save the world. It's because he wanted to fight stronger opponents. The truth of the matter is, it was the bad guys that kept coming to HIM and his home turf which made him have to take those fights personal.

Seriously TOO MANY people make this mistake. It is NOT "Mastered" Ultra Instinct. Its just ULTRA INSTINCT. If it was MASTERED he wouldnt have a time limit with the form. It was only called "mastered" in the title for the sub and then EVERYONE started calling it MUI even though official db media refers to it as just "Ultra Instinct"
The black haired version is called "Ultra Instinct -Sign-/Omen" it serves as a gateway to the actual silver haired UI.

Krillin might be weak in DBZ standards....But Bro would absolutely bag some super beings like Omniman. Yes Omniman could destroy a planet but needs help. Krillin had a powerlevel of around 75000 during the Frieza arc. For your information. It takes around 10k power level to destroy a full sized planet with ease. Anybody with a power level of 1200 can destroy a planet but it would take great effort and repeated tries. We don't quite know how strong Krillin is in the Tournament of power but we know it is at least 1.6million. Basically a lot stronger than Omniman. Krillin is the strongest human if you don't count 17 and 18 as humans. 17 and 18 are Just modified humans. FYI Cyborgs and not Androids. 16 Was a Android.

Well, yeah. Most of our crew of Z fighters were at first. With Goku, you either become his friend in some way, or he kills you.
Vegeta wouldn't claim to be Goku's friend, BUT! Vegeta behaved out of fear of Goku stomping him long enough that Goku considered him a friend, and eventually, no matter what Vegeta says, he did become Goku's friend.

Bulma was a conniving treasure hunter
Hacchan (#8) became a good guy because of Gokuu way back when
Kuririn was a mischievous rival
Yajirobe was a conniving bounty hunter who turned his life around because of Gokuu
Yamucha was a bandit
Tenshinhan & Chaozu were being groomed to be an assassin
Piccolo was his evil father's heir
Vegeta was a conqueror
Frieza was a much worse conqueror
Lapis (#17) & Lazuli (#18), a pair of rebellious teens angry at the world, were transformed into powerful killer cyborgs
Majin Boo a god killer has become a caring gentle giant who loves to eat and be around his friends (that's mostly Mr. Satan's work than Gokuu's but Gokuu did save his life which pretty much put him fully on the hero's path)
The only friends that Gokuu had that didn't have nefarious intentions were Chichi, Upa, and Arale
Pretty much everyone Gokuu comes in contact with is profoundly transformed, either in a very good way or a very bad way. Those with the capacity to grow beyond what they were are reborn, those who can't are driven mad and defeated. Did Akira Toriyama really bring Frieza back to have be the person he's always been? I don't think so. Frieza is on that slow road to redemption that Piccolo and Vegeta were once on. This tournament has given Frieza a taste of what friendship and support could be like. We'll have to wait and see what happens in future stories how Frieza reacts to that. Change doesn't happen overnight, it's a slow process as we saw with Vegeta.

Jiren lost his composure which is why he lost the fight. When he was fully composed, he was literally unbeatable. Past trauma can take such a heavy toll if it creeps back into your mind

there are 4 major arches they cover. the Sayian saga, namek and freiza, the andriods and cell, and the buu saga but it is very very short they literally call it the buu bits cause of how small it is
