- When selecting a career, identify your aptitude, inclination, and the amount of hard work you are willing to put into it (or talk to a counselor who will do this for you) and then select a program accordingly. However, if you know a student around you who is disregarding all these factors and planning on choosing a certain career path blindly, ask them to avoid these programs. Due to market saturation, only students with high interest and aptitude can perform well in these careers.

You can disagree with me but Nor the skills neither the scope of field matters .. what matter is the passion for something .. if you are passionate about something you will find out ways to be good in it. Biggest challenge is to find out the interests of students and guide them to achieve their goals .have you ever wondered why our engineers are jobless? Because they never choosed their degree by passion and once the trend changes they end up in joblessness . If someone is actually passionate about some profession this doesnt mean he will top in entry exam for the universty but once he has enough knowlege he will acquire skills and will never be jobless . Most probably he will create jobs . But such students mostly are filtered out by entry exams and trend followers get their place .sadly our society trends and education system made us sheeps.

I agree with you 100% regarding DPT. If anyone is reading my comment kindly refrain from getting admission in it or try to get into some other subject as there are NO JOBS in this field. And a few jobs that are there for those you will need reference. In public sector hospitals vacancies for physiotherapists are announced after years.secondaly there is no council due to which you can find a physiotherapy college in every nook and corner of the country this further decreases it's value.almost 90% of internships are unpaid.

Dear All, Whatever career counsellor is saying is right to some extent but what I believe is that hardwork in any field is the basic key to success! every field has its own scope whether you are naturally fit-in or not still there is a roam to polish your skills and also you can have a chance of diversified portfolio e.g. if you are an Engineer you can have a job in Bank or other financial institution also depending on the kind of skills and subject like management sciences and engineering economics you may have gone through, every country has its own cultural boundaries and within limits we had to operate with, don't blame on field scope but rather try to develop your skills which change its course from time to time and last but not the least learning is a continuous process so as it is rightly said: first learn and than earn. Don't limit yourself to a certain degree learning should continue throughout lifetime.

Agree with your first point but in second point I would say that no one is forced to enter any specific field. Ab ye to nhi ho sakta har bande ko mbbs karna hai to har saal 70k doctor produce ho rahe hain. If you dont fall in merit list of mbbs, try fnding other courses like bs computer science bba from iba lums bahria fast or take acca and many other fields.

Now if student rely just on teachers ,and teachers aren't updated then student is going to face a lot of difficulties after passing out.World is changing very fastly, and so are the requirements of work. I was graduated from one of the Pakistan's top universities so I know what I faced later.

Either go or not. It depends on interest of students. Let me know the disadvantages of Finance and Accounting Yeah It can be if you don't have interest or skills. FBR, NAB, Banks, Multinational Companies, Government and Private Companies have to keep the record of cash inflow and outflow. So, sir do not misguide the students. Doing Engineering and Physical Therapist is not valuable right now according to need of the country.
I agree 100% with you. Money is the most important thing in this world and every entity needs money recorders and managers. (Plus one of the best ways to make money is to be in the business of money (Finance).

(1)First of all,Pakistan should develop DPT Council so that it can be disciplined.India is more advanced than Pakistan in Medical as We all(Medical Students) read Indian Authors' Books for completing our degree.
(2)Secondly,DPT is not a trend,it is a more advanced form of healing diseases as it involves no surgery and it is safe.
