Thanks again!
The quality of the clothing will give you a clue to the quality of the potential recruit.
You could try building a village house or 2 in a village you are at friendly or better with. That spawns 2 new people so might be a good one to recruit that way. From what I have seen in my game, the higher reputation requirement to recruit (at least to protector) meant better stats overall (and the better dressed the villager is in the town).
You have to remove everyone’s bags per/ last patch notes. You will get back all kinds of crap that was hidden. I got tons of tools and shields back. Then re equipt their bags and your good to go as this was fixed in patch. But patch notes stated you have to remove the bag and re equipt them
Thanks for doing this one!
No worries! Thanks for watching
Thx for sharing ! Don't forget you can craft trophies to increase your renown... your town will look like it's home to a psychopath though...
You can also build village well, village house and a village shrine for them.
Ha ha ha ha love it
You can also disassemble trophies.
@@reljamrkic2663 True enought, I guess I kinda like to have my own Scrubs's Janitor taxidermist fanatic... :p
@@nanashikitsune1595 I hear ya. To each his own.
Great info thanks again
You bet
All this time i thought that the renown to expel was a cost and not renown i would get back lol. Thanks for the Video
Glad I could help!
Yup I thought the same, can't wait to get into my wee village and do some evictions 😁
Thanks for all the videos you've posted, great work, but I am confused on something as new to the game. I have H liberated and can take Brad and P, but I've heard the Brigands threat level goes nuts and you get aggroed just going into other towns starting around the 20% anger level or so...question is, how was the game intended, are you supposed to cap them all and hold them? OR would it be smarter to grab the apprentices you need and give it back, so you only have one liberation at a time? Cheers mate
I guess there a pros and cons to both, grab what you need but cant hire anyone more apprentices after they take it back.
Also, if you load them up with food and make them a companion then fast travel back you your settlement, they still may die but I THINK they run the whole way back to you, which would increase the likelihood of them surviving. This may apply when you want to raid something as well (town or bandit camp) but I'm still not sure how to manage all that especially living in the north and trying to take something all the way south, feel like that's going to be a headache
I have only marched my army in summer so they can eat berries and mushrooms on the way
For me, i like to hire people with +attack speed traits.
I'm wondering if I got too far into the game and going to really struggle with taking a town. I'm in Day 55 and haven't even reclaimed the towns. I only have 8 workers total. My Raid level is Level 8, and it seems to go up by one level per day. I'm not sure how much longer we will hold out. At least one person dies per battle. Finally building the Village hall but didn't have enough wheat collected. Wonder how many more battles my people can survive...
Save game give it a shot
Is there any explanation on what the attributes do. A video on finding the right man for the job would be great
Not that I have yet, early days I am sure someone will figure it out
Great video!! Exactly the type of info new folks need with bellwright. My only advice would be to shorten the video a bit. The first part showing potential recruits who you couldn't recruit could have been skipped, and then using that same voice over for the ones you could.
Noted! thanks for the advice and watching
PETITION: I'd like to campaign for Wombat to at least give people some old clothes and a bag of turnips as severance pay!!! 😆
8:26 Even though she has only One Handed lvl 5 and Shields lvl 5, shouldn't her having both the Stalwart and Defender traits also be taken into account? Aren't those good traits to buff her as a fighter?
12:28 Both of them... tough to choose
14:20 After the patch, it is suggested that you re-equip the bag on all your villagers.
Easier to see the villagers that I don't want when they have no clothes, lol. Yes I have to get all 20+ and swap out the bags 🙃
so funny Gil Claxton is a carpenter in my game lol. i have him he's pretty good
Im trying to recruit ppl with at least 3 in strength so they can use round shields. My only doubt would be if you give your settler a one handed weapon and a shield, does one handed attribute wont count and be replaced by only shields attribute, right? If im wrong then im screwed 😆
I think they work together
@@WombatGaming mmm, idk as both attributes give damage and speed dmg buffs. Common sense tells me if you equip a shield then you only use shield attribute buffs.
The "Fierce" stat doesn't just increase damage given. It also increases damage taken by the same amount. Think glass cannon.
is this confirmed?
what do the different colored stats mean? green/yellow/more yellow etc...
It indicates the level of the stats they have green being the best ect
Murray Hewitt plays Bellwright!😂
The food is a glitch caused by her having a bag...the food was in a hidden slot...fixed with the last patch.
Yes, I recorded this before patch lol
You have to take the bag back and re equipt it. I found 1/2 my tools, it’s like when I go into my teenagers room and all 1/2 my tools from the garage are in there
Why do you run so low on renown points?
I have around 20.000 and liberatet my first city. Got 7 followers. Why am i so rich? Can i use renowns on other stuff the hier people?
I have about 30 people, I dont hold on to them I spend them as soon as I can. The more people the faster your settlement will grow and the bigger army you will have.
I've got 3 villagers and one of those is a 1 eyed beggar lol
early game those beggars are fine... you can "sell" them back later
I just took farnsworth for my third village just before work. Looking forward to getting to use the drying rack tomorrow :)
He'll yes, I did it today. I smashed then to lol. Could have done it easy sooner
It's hard to defend! It depend where is your settlement. You can't get on time
Yeah, by the time you can find a laborer, you're already buying Raw Hide with trade feature. It opens up other buildings though.
I found a town loaded with apprentices. Its near the swampy area across the river. I need to go back in to find the name. Black something.
Yes, I think they have added more apprentices to the harder towns now. The basics still apply
At 5:47 aleksander the expert weaver. In my game it lets me recruit this guy and im only friend status with this town farnsworth. Im assuming expert is better then apprentice. Maybe game bug?
Was wondering about it too as I recruited him without town being liberated.
Thats a little confusing to me still, I can hire certain apprentices at protector level with lower stats than if I was a bellwright, but I need to figure out if I let brigands take a town back before I recruit them, do I lose the ability to hire those people with the "Liberated" requirement....
@@Dwargwarf i picked him up too. Have you tried doing any "aprentice weaver" research w him?
@@brandx7711 i havent even liberated 1 town yet, good question. Recruiting seems very rng
@@agentorange2724 I'm doing it right now, and no point if you don't have rawhide unlocked his items require them other than one pair of pants
