Bartop Arcade Cabinet (Weecade clone)

- This is a clone of the Weecade as can be seen @ koenigs.dk.
Have been working on it since last october and and now it's pretty much finished. I do have to spend some time in configurating everything so it's the way I want it to be, but I think this will be an ongoing thing.
Through the project I made some video footage cause I wanted to create a timelapse video. So this is it. (2 projects at once)
I needs a few adjustments but afterwards it will still look the same. (I think I want a glass screenprotector. Also I damaged the perspex cover a bit which is over the controlpanel, so will have to make a new (thicker!) one.)
Anyway, I'm happy with the result.

It's a perspex window with a black film on the inside so it creates an edge around the LCD screen.
@clasu: You can find allot of info @ koenigs.dk . This site was also my example. I've created my artwork in Inkscape, but later I used Adobe Illustrator to finish everything. So I have an .ai file if you want it. (give me your email)
The monitor is powered by the PSU of the computer (passthrough-power). So when the computer boots, the monitor starts up at the same time.
I got the stickers printed at a local shop which normally prints stickers to attach to cars for like advertisement.
i really wanna build one for my stepdads birthday, he grew up playing mortal kombat, he would go everyday the arcade to play mk3, and i want to build this one for him for nostalgic reasons.
Very nice to see a complete build video sped up. This is a project I've been looking into completing myself. What size LCD did you use ? What are your thoughts afterwards, vertical or horizontal mounting of the monitor ? That's my only issue stopping me at the moment as I don't want to spend on a new or used LCD when I have a couple of old laptops and desktop monitors gathering dust. Cheers.
I used a 19" LCD screen. I certainly choose the horizontal mounting option again.
@nathaniel : I used a PSU with a male output. It's basically a passthrough.

Hello , nice work. I've already started to build one of this beauty and I'd like to ask if you have left a little bit space between the plexiglass and the lcd monitor (~5mm) or you've installed it resting on it. (I'm worried about heat problem for the lcd panel?)

Designed them myself and I had them printed at an advertisement company. It's foil.

dude...i open the SketchUp file but there are no measurements in the program, or i cant find them...can you please help?Is there a file with your cabinet plans? excact measurements? and all? thx
You can use the measurement tool in Sketchup to show the different lenghts.
