If you're a TRUE fan you can think one player is the best ever and still appreciate the greatness of others. I personally think he's the best, but I don't have a problem with those who think it's MJ or Kareem. The fact he is gonna do it also being top 4 all time in assists is the crazy part. Being top 5 in either category is amazing but he’s gonna be 1 in scoring and keep moving up the list in assists.

@Bobby4F he averages about 7 assist a game. Paul is 3rd and is 908 assist away. If he plays most of the remaining of this season and a majority of next year he can pass Paul. I believe after he reaches 40k points he will focus more on play making which will get him more assist per game. If he really wants to play with bronie and maybe his younger son, I can see him playing 3 more seasons and will be able to pass jason kid (number 2) for all time assist. But yeah no 1 passing Stockton lol. Crazy how he will be number 1 in scoring and top 3 in assist.

Man I remember first knowing about Lebron in Slam Magazine when he was a junior in HS doing the Slam Diary and watched some of his HS games. I saw pantheon great but of all people I didn’t see him breaking Kareem’s record and being mentioned as the GOAT. It is still amazing to me with all of the pressure coming straight out of HS and is now on the cusp of breaking a record that many thought would never be broken. You have essentially a point forward about to be the leagues all time leading scorer and heck he might get to number 2 in assist when it’s all said and done. I don’t think anybody saw Bron breaking this record. It’s just a privilege I was able to see it in my lifetime. We will never see this again.

To impose his own record and further his own legend, he could just do his patented "bully ball drive" and lay it in left-handed.
