WHY IS SHE LIKE THIS?!?! She can sing the alphabet and make me have a fit. What I love about Jazmine Sullivan is how true to herself she always stays. Even when she pops all the way off, she never does too much to me. Immediate add to the playlist.

God took his time on her vocal ability. Somebody else was supposed to get some of that, but they probably got just enough to give people the courage to ask them not to sing anymore. Thank God for his good works.
There are parts of this that I like and parts that bug me. The band stays true to the jazz standard where Jazmine does not and I wish she did. Jazz singers don't sing with melisma(runs), they scat to mimick the sound of an instrument. I also didn't much care for that gospel feel of it in certain places either.
I wish she had studied this jazz standard and style and kept true its form and showcased herself singing it true to the way its supposed to be sung. Ok that's just the music teacher in me.

@@nicim3730 She recorded an earlier version 14yrs ago and she did scat on it, but also did runs on it. I prefer that version more it's a lot grittier/heavy(kinda of gospel like)
