I love being able to finally listen to this great time period in music. Who ever figured the eeelectric guitar. When I was little I had my cardboard box drumset and then the Beatle,,monkey animals thln PINK FLOYD birds EAGLES. If I could drag the extension cord hooked to my charger that be tough on the lake.
After Jerry died I stopped going to shows/concerts. I finished my surgical residency, & a fellow in Thoracic trauma. I took early retirement in 2018 and started going back to the Dead (& co.) and enjoying the new ensemble with John, Otiele, & Jeff (I simply will not compare to Jerry, instead enjoy the beautiful energy shared between us and the band). I have since delved back deeply into mind elevation and research with Psychedelics, Specifically El and DiMiTreus. You did not need my whole litany to get to my point. Though I will say how far digital imaging has come, even from the original Mandelbrot zooms. This is absolutely brilliant and beautiful (both music and images). A huge thank you to LSD TV. I'm not a fan of "ranking" songs, saying this or that is the best version ever etc. BUT, if I did pick favorites and declare something as best ever, this Bird Song would be at top of the list. The Veneta Bird Song, and Dark Star for that matter, are just absolutely stunning.

The dust bin of history is filled with cool stuff. The greatful dead are not ever a foot note in history. Jerry Garcia is a football player. Jerry would laugh and say we got lucky, being in the right place at the right time and “ I wrote a a couple of good songs”. And in the end what should the number of view be on the video? The influence of jerry and the Greatful Dead today is about zero. I know what Jerry would say. “We never set out to influence anything”. So never mind.
The set lists above is not correct. There is a clear Stronger than Dirt at 25:00. However not sure what version it is. It's not the Jam at 6/18/74 nor is it the Jam at 7/27/73.
