Some comments about this performance:
The music is not original composition of al-Andalus time. Is a new composition ( around 1979) by Fuad Abd El Majeed, composed for the Reda Troupe. The lyrics is also not andalusian, is also new. The style is al-Andalus inspiration but of course nothing is original from that period, not the music, not the lyrics and not the dance. This is a style crated by Mahmoud Reda inspired on al-Andalus
Choreography: Mahmoud Reda
Female dancers: Nesma from Spain and her company Al-Andalus Danza.
This is not Reda Troupe
Show: Celebration 50 Aniversary of Reda Troupe, Library of Alexandria
The singer in this version is the violin player Mohamed Ali from Egypt. In the original version the singer was the composer Fouad Abdel Abd El Majeed
