Warning: EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME!
Today we’re going to look at the ignition cylinder replacement. It’s not that bad, take your time.
Components: Classic Industries
Column lock plate retainer (I called it a C clamp or retainer) P118
Turn signal lever P119
Haszard switch knob p119
Turn signal switch (harness) p119
Turn signal canceling cam p119
Shaft lock plate (it looked like a flower)
Shaft lock cover (the first plate I removed)
Thanks again for watching and have a good one.

"Push out the Tab"
NO, you need to Break through this slot, then you can Push the tab in to release.
Learned the hard way and broke the plastic gear for the ignition ripping and grinding the cylinder out.
I know how sketchy this sounds, but does removing the lock cylinder disable the wheel lock?
Good question, but I don't recall having to move the cylinder. I just pulled it straight out. So I can't say if removing the cylinder will disable the wheel lock.
