Love this type of content. Thanks for being transparent.
love how transparent, thorough, and educational you are. none better in the business!
Love these comc videos. Keep the tutorials and tactics videos coming!
I love this series!! That’s the dice you roll in auction sales…great video! Thanks for sharing 👊✌️
Hi RGL,
I really appreciate your COMC information, and your general insight into the hobby and it’s financial ramifications.
Keep on trucking,
Peter
Always appreciate the Videos!
Best card content video I've seen in a while. Thanks!
good job James. Keep it up!
another banger loved the tuesday stream last night too
I appreciate having you as a mentor ...My Liege
Seems like a great time to be a buyer via comc not a seller. I'll never buy in to a break for this reason as well, why gamble $200 in a break when you can get 6 cards you like from RGL for cheaper 😆
First video I’ve seen of someone showing all their auctions and total of what they made on each card. I have so many cards from the past 3 years and a boat load from when I was a lot younger and I have never sold anything. So yes please do a tutorial for selling cards on Comc (for dummies)🤙🏼
I agree with you about downtowns. I have been saying the same thing for the last couple years. I really don't like the optic DTs and prefer regular donruss DTs
Your a Gee my boy Can you explain comc challenges? I'm sure it is exactly what I think it is but I'm slow
Just showing how we need to be picky on what to send for grading.
Love college cards. Huge college football fan here.
With bowman u everyone now chasing the 1st cards.
Topps put college cards back on the map again!
I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up like baseball with the bowman 1st going for alot.
I'm not saying it gonna be on the same $ money as baseball but it has bought way more college collectors.
I'm getting tired of eBay. Would love to learn more about COMC fees but also how you handle the accounting side of things.
Only reason I prefer the Optic downtown vs the donruss one is due to the logo. Not a fan of the donruss logo, I feel like it looks cheap. Just me, but I'm sure others feel similar.
Hey RGL. What’s your thoughts on grading through COMC?
Until they offer some sort of wipe down / review service and decline cards people submit to grading knowing they won't get 10's and 9's, I'm not a fan.
Comc have a huge promotion 35 cents and select 75 cents until august 14
Dropped off 1000 raw and 250 slabs yesterday lol
Some I don't understand why you graded like the Trout Mosaic
Live and learn
COMC seems like a good concept, have you ever tried calling their customer service? How do you know the raw cards you send in are the actual cards that get posted on COMC?
Their customer service is very...inadequate. A bunch of good people in the department handcuffed by bad company policy and a bad leader.
I worked there for 8 years. They aren't swapping cards.
@@RunGoodLife Thanks for the info!!
Fields, Lawrence, Jackson, and Herbert are all hyped up but you'll always see more value from Lawrence and Fields for some reason, funny thing is Kirk had better seasons than most QB's last year and gets ZERO fucking love and it's horrible.
Share the love Big dawg wtf 😒
I also think your margin would haven been much higher if you sell most of these raw, at least you save your grading fees.
Is grading new cards even worth it? Auctions definitely don’t seem worth it.
What if we don’t know how much to start the auction off, will they set a price they think is good?
All auctions start at $1
Better off leaving as Buy it now or offer. These Auctions not worth it. Keep all my cards sitting up till right buyer comes
@rungoodlife Why didn’t you run those on eBay yourself?
I work 80 hours a week in the hobby as a full time content creator and breaker. I have zero time to take photos + list + ship.
@@RunGoodLife makes total sense man! New to the hobby after a 30 year break so I’m trying to learn and your channel has been SOOO helpful!
I mean not to stats the obvious but you should only auction cards of hot players. Joe namath isn't a hot player lol, hence not great results. Same with some of the lower end names. But some rookies did good because people are searching their newer cards right now. It's all about how many eyeballs will get on the auctions for your card and getting 2 people to fight for it. In a buy it now scenario it's the person against themselves. Much easier to dictate what you want for a card.
Not really suprised on PSA 10 random parallels of any vet really. Market seems to be, case hit, or rookie, or really its just personal then
College sells, when pro isn't out yet
Love the COMC videos RGL, do you think all these slabs would’ve sold better on auction if it wasn’t through COMC…I feel like some buyers may still have a bad taste in their mouths about COMC during the pandemic
I don't think it would have mattered if I used Probstein, DCSport, etc. I just feel like the market is hilariously bad when it comes to rarer & underappreciated cards. We have so many new collectors since 2020, but most of them have no concept of how rare a 1999 Pacific Peyton Manning to /150 is, let alone a PSA 9.
I think most people have moved on from COMC's shortcomings during the pandemic. Only game in town that can do what they do as far as scale goes.
Soooo go back to pokemon?? Hahah
Only 5%? There must be some other up front fees?
Storage fees homie are the ones that will kill you.
10% additional fee if you cash out, but there are ways to circumvent (never cash out, or buy cards and sell outside of COMC)
Bro people need to stop doing auctions every single day of the year... if Ebay made auctions only 1 week a month. It would change the whole hobby
Too many damn cards and they all look same..
I have lost over $1,000+ dollars selling my graded cards I would not sell anymore cards or you will get robbed
hobby doesn’t respect the old heads
Namath is the most overrated player of all time
