EPL can suck it! With this beauty and the Milan Emirates Arena Serie A will be back to where it belongs... Champions league. I've also heard that this stadium has a Hydraulic Lift installed just in the Colosseum for the entry of the Gladiators.. Although it looks super cool and awesome, I wish they could have just copied the Colosseum design... That would have been brilliant! But still no complaints :)

Even though I'm not a Roma fan, I was really positively surprised and enthusiastic when I first found out that finally, some Serie A club, after Juventus, Sassuolo, and Udinese, will come to its senses and build a new, and modern stadium, which will be owned by the club. And when we all saw this video, the animation of the new Roma Stadium, I was stunned how awesome it was. It could've been better even than Bayern's Allianz Arena! But now, after 4 years of the beginning of the project, and 2 years after all paper work was done, and they announced that they're ready to start with the construction, it's clear that it'll probably never happen!
Thanks to the Italian bureaucracy and corruption, Stadio Della Roma will remain only a wishful thinking, which only proves that Italy is no better than any Balkan country. Actually it's worse. No matter how much corruption there is in the Balkan countries, at least, at the end they would've build it, regardless of how much money they'll still (for example, if it costs 100, they'll say it costs 300, and they'll put 200 in their pocket. That's how the Balkan countries work. But at least they work, and they're building things, unlike Italy, where everything is put on a long pause, and appears to be from the previous century).
This is a disgrace, for all of Italy, and especially it's a pity for AS Roma, and the Italian football overall! If they would've done it, maybe then the other teams would've do the same (especially Napoli, who're facing the same problems, which is why they can't build a new modern stadium as well, and play on the ruin, known as San Paolo. And for a great and pwoerful club ike that, it's devastating. Who in their right mind will go to watch a match on San Paolo. Look, even their most loyal fans stop coming, except for the most attractive matches. Seasn 16/16 the average attendance was 40K, and now, after 9 matchdays, it about 29K. This speaks volumes!). And with this (that's happening in Roma), everything will remain the same, and no matter how good the clubs would become (in a terms of players, and the quality of the game, and the good salaries), no big stars will prefer to come in Serie A, compared with EPL and LaLiga, where all clubs have new, modern stadiums, without the annoying and horrible looking athletic track. Hell, even the Turkish, and Russian leagues have 10 times better stadiums! If not 100 times!
If you don't believe me, and think that my view on this subject is too pessimistic, just read this article, from about 6, 7 months ago (noting positive has happened since then), where most of the problems for the realization of this project are well explained, with numerous details, and things will become much more clear! What a shame! Just when we all started to believe that we'll watch Roma playing in front of 60K visitors each week, in a great new stadium, that'll be pride and joy for all Romans, especially the AS Roma aficionados!
A shame on Italy! A country of corruption and bureaucracy!

America will destroy your as roma passion and culture. I am an American and I predict that if italy permits the usa to get involved in this stadium project you will lose your identity !! Consider all the things that you will not be permitted to do in the new stadium . And it's proposed location is so far out iyounwill not be identified with it . It belongs closer to rome!!! Too many American stadiums are too far from the team fan base! Beware roma. Don't be foolled into this.
