Excellent video! Very clear and easy to understand. I'm not a beginner but am going from a much earlier version of Android (Android 8 on my S7 Edge) to this and was wondering where everything was on the newer version. Thank you for the info, it will save me hunting when I'm looking for things.
Until I got halfway through I was thrilled. Now I am getting confused. I guess my brain needs a break. The first smartphone for a really old guy is not as easy as it should be. (And no there aren't any five-year-olds around to help me.) One suggestion. The first thing every lesson should consist of is just how to answer the phone before the caller gives up. (Why does it feel like I just fumbled the ball in the Super Bowl?) The second thing might be how to call back before my friend forgets why he called me. My third problem is that the volume keeps dropping and I have to find the page with the symbol on it to raise the volume. (The super techs at Amazon couldn't figure this one out.) Actually, these are great instructions. I am sure I will figure it out after watching a few times. Maybe you can make a really simple, very basic film for old guys who still have landlines.
Should have asked... The screen comes on every time the phone moves. Kind of annoying as I'm walking along. Any way to change that? Great video. I really learned a lot as I will be getting a new Motorola phone after using a Samsung for years. Thanks!!
Let me go back to the beginning. HOW DID YOU GET TO THE SCREEN YOU SHOW WHEN YOU START THE VIDEO? When I turn on the phone (which is done by hitting the small SUB BAR on the power switch, NOT JUST PRESSING THE SWITCH ITSELF, as I finally discovered) all I get is a "Time Display" and a tiny date line up in the L/H top corner. Lower on the screen are 4 icons. A. The SETTINGS icon. B. The CAT EARS icon, which looks like 2 cat ears standing up. C. A small FACEBOOK "F" icon and D. A "turn signal with an x in the middle of it" icon At the bottom of the screen is what I take to be the power level display, which is showing 100% Perhaps if I can get to the screen you start from, some of what you are showing will make sense and work as you say it will. So how do I get to this initial screen you show when you start the demo, so I can follow this along? Thank you!

I got it to go to the recent setting display. HOW DO I TURN OFF THE APPS THAT ARE RUNNING? You only show how to slide them and make them disappear. Does THIS make them shut off? Or should I push the "CLEAR ALL" button? This is not very helpful, as I STILL don't know what I am doing.

Ok, 4 minutes in. Pressing the power button DOES NOT take me to the power screen. It takes me to some screen where it makes "shushing sounds" for a baby! REALLY!?!? HOW DO I GET TO THE POWER SCREEN?
So if the apps stay where they were does that simply mean that they can''t be moved. Having discovered that the operating system on my Moto G Play takes up half of my internal memory I purchased a relatively fast micro sd card that reads @ 200MB/sec and 90MB/sec and nothing moved Not a singe app as far as I can tell!!!!! I was a fan!!!!!!!!!

How would you secure wifi code to be able to connect in the area you are at?
Most restaurants have free wifi, you just need to ask for the code. If you're at a friend's house you just need to ask for the code as well.

Is there an option to turn on automatic answer phone calls? I tried through the call button, three dots and setting and can’t find this option?
