    All of these years and I never knew this was an actual dance. It makes so much so much sense now. Get down. Turn around. Go to town. Boot scootin boogie. I always thought boot scootin boogie was code for sex

    It is really cool that she is teaching us how to do this however, when she says " I'm going to turn around so you can SEE what MY BOOTS are doing", I lost it 🤣 🤣 🤣 ! ! ! HONEY ! ! ! Your wearing BELL BOTTOMS, Can't NOBODY See What Your Boots Are Doing ! ! ! 🤣 🤣 🤣

I was thinking that somewhere a holiday inn is missing a curtain ! Anyway thumbs up for you ! Hope you go back to shorts or long jeans 👖 and cowboy boots ! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️🥰🥰🥰

    Very good lesson by part practiced right before give a second part to introduce both then other follwed by those those together 1 after 1 after 1 included and restart from start. Your the first and the only one best for respect integration and practice part by part and give confidence and fun. Please do others even then old from past because restart from good fondamental base.

    From one dance teacher to another, demonstrating footwork in pants like that is not helpful for students to learn. They need to see your feet clearly.

    I'm certainly no expert, but there seems to be a couple of different versions of this dance, yes? Although this is very similar to the one we do, there are a few differences. Either that or I was taught and have been doing it wrong for years. Lol

    Looks like there are too many steps for me to remember.
    I was at a concert Friday night where this Elvis impersonator also did country & there were people saying Boot Scoot Boogie & I was thinking OH PLEASE NO I CAN’T DANCE TO THAT SONG!!!
    He did sing that song & I had to stand out because it’s too hard for me to dance to that song that’s why I didn’t want him to do that song because I can’t dance to that song not at all.
    I love the song don’t get me wrong but I have 2 left feet when it comes to dancing to songs like that memorizing where I put my feet.
    I can do the Macarena without a problem because that’s mostly with my hands but when it comes to dancing & memorizing where my feet go I never have been able to do that.
    I can’t even do the electric slide.
    I want to learn so I don’t have to stand aside but it’s too hard for me to remember the steps.

    Why in the world would you hide your feet under excessively large bell bottoms when teaching dance steps? Very distracting for such great instruction!

  • @gregghoff730
    @gregghoff730 Před rokem +2

    It’s really annoying to the point of distraction with those dumb tent pants…any dance is all about footwork. As an instructor, you should know that it’s critical we see what you are doing with your feet. Hard pass to the next video.

    The question I have is, why call this the Boot Scootin Boogie when there are about half a dozen line dances that all call themselves the Boot Scootin Boogie. People who teach dancing need to decide on a standard. I learned this from you and then found out that they were doing something completely different at the Grizzly Rose. And then I found that there were a bunch more versions. So I wasted my time. czcams.com/video/cKuipOBqPvY/video.html
