- Review of the HGUC GM Sniper II. Overall the kit is ok for its time and comes with a good amount of equipment with a additional Draken E. Comes with the 2 trigger hands for the right arm so swapping out weapons on the hand is not required. The only downside of the kit would be that it is tricky to do the sniping pose compared to the MG and the new Robot Damashii ver.

This kit was the first kit that introduced me to gunpla. One of the best kit at its time.
You dont compare HG to RG.
@@34w-Motions why? At the time of gm sniper 2 was put on sale, moon gundam wasnt even available.
Stop trying to make points that dont make sense.
No kidding, this kit, took me 11 hours to complete from start to finish. That didn't even include the painting I did of the thrusters and all that. The HGUC, took me that long. The main reason was having to go through and clean up all of the nub marks as there seemed to be like 3 of each piece, lol. However, I didn't build the little petite Mobile Suit. Honestly there's very little to improve on this gunpla other than having the spare Ammo mags on the shielf to be separate and mold in gray plastic, as well as double jointed elbows (which many have modded with using the GM Type-C 0083 kit parts). Keep up the great work! =P
This would make a great custom, Kinda thinking about giving this guy a cape and a custom made rifle.
The HGUC Nemo also has that single elbow joint problem too. It's probably the design aspects of the GM Sniper II and the Nemo that make it harder to add double jointed elbows for the HG versions, which is probably why they were able to add double jointed elbows into their MG counterparts.
For arm you can modified if you want , using gm ii joints

Btw you can make this have a double joint elbow. Kakarot197 showed how to mod it.

I wonder if there is any chance we are getting a The Origin version of this. I mean, we had the P-Bandai GM Sniper Custom which was based on the Guard Type…..
The MG version of GM Sniper II really outshines its HGUC version so much.
It came out years later so yeah.
Master grades are almost always better than their high grade counterparts, since there are more parts, and it’s a larger scale so more detail.
Wish the MG version come with Draken-E

Well the gm sniper ii was used when developing the nemo
@@marasai426 huh never knew that i thought that since zeta came first then that means the gm sniper ii came later not actually being produced at the same time
@@amixedbag5964 AEUG needed to develop their own ms but being a bit inexperienced so they had to borrow some earth federation ms tech and among them was the gm sniper ii.
I was missing some PC 1 parts for this kit, I looked everywhere, I’m sure I didn’t drop them or anything. Luckily I did have spares from other kits.
Nice kit but needs a revive
