      Morning! Thanks for your message and glad my video has been some help to you. Regarding the screenomatic2 and the red check sensor light. In my experience most issues arise from the screen requiring a clean- in this instance particularly as you’ve mentioned that it appears your pump flow has increased. Your pump cant increase in flow, but once the screens micro pores become clogged water entering the filter will flow up and over the screen, rather then peculate through it. This gives the impression that flow rates have increased. Using the blue hand brush included with the filter gentle clean the screen in circular motions- press the manual clean button to get the screen moving so you can clean it completely. You may have to remove the screen (via the blue side screws) to be able to clean the inside of the screen also. Once clean turn off the power supply to the filter unit for ten seconds or more and then switch back on- this will reset the sensor led, which should resume its usual green colour. From my experience this should solve any issues, however if you continue to get a permanent red light you may have to remove and clean the sensor, move the sensor position or replace the sensor (unlikely though). Oase are very helpful to speak to also! Hope this helps and good luck!

      @@CrystalClearAquatics thanks for quick reply, i removed the screen cleaned it, and the plastic base also, after i installed it before any water flowed the green light came on after the water and the debris came by the red light came on and the screen is not moving. what causes the flow of water to increase, it covers the whole screen instead only a 3rd of the screen. the screen doesnt move at all, even pressing the button it doesnt move. i even blocked the water flowing over the screen to see what would happen but the light is still red. next time ill remove the screen again and clean, and also the filter inside, ill remove the sponges and hose it inside and try one more time. can i send you a short video so you can see since there is no one here to help in cyprus.

      Hi there-thanks for watching! Any ‘off the shelf’ silicon grease or Vaseline will do the job perfectly.

    will the turbine still spin if the lights is off ? and the pump is on ?

    • @CrystalClearAquatics
      @CrystalClearAquatics  Před 2 lety

      Hi there! The turbine spins due to the flow of water flowing past so yes- if the pump is on, regardless of whether the uvc is on or not, the turbine will still spin. Unless there is a blockage….!

    Is it normal for the light to flash??

    • @CrystalClearAquatics
      @CrystalClearAquatics  Před 4 lety

      John Hope yes! This means it’s operating as it should-the quartz sleeve is surrounded by a plastic turbine that spins around the sleeve helping to prevent deposits of scale and algae from soiling it and reducing light output/efficiency. The flashing appearance is a result of the turbine rotating past the uvc viewing window!

      @@CrystalClearAquatics perfect thankyou 110 watt uv on a 2300 gallon pond. Will it take long to clear. I have a proficlear compact as a filter

    • @CrystalClearAquatics

      John Hope no problem-good to see you’re using such high spec kit on that volume of water-too many people use far to small a uvc on their ponds with no hope of clarification! Obviously dependent on stocking density’s but I would expect the pond to clear (assuming it’s green) in approximately two weeks.
