- In an exclusive interview with Imphal Times, President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha(BJYM) Manipur Pradesh, Manoharmayum Barish Sharma expressed that the present violence is a pre-planned attack by the Kukis and in May 2022, the youths of BJYM knew that something big was going to happen, when they were stopped from planting trees at Thangjing Hill Range by a group of armed Kuki villagers, to conceal their activities of poppy plantation.
