I Feel FM should give at least 10% tax exemption for spouse and 10% for 2 kids each . This ease our burden. Today no savings, inflation on grocery and vegetables is 30%. This is ridiculous taxation

Dr, i understand your point. still dont agree with you that elected representatives can empathize more. when we removed moral education in schools, we stopped teaching people to be empathetic. coming to indexation, when we get interest from fixed deposit, the interest gets added to income and pay taxes as per the slab. indexation benefits removed for debt mutual funds last year. to stream line all assets investment, indexation removed for real state too. by the way, is indexation a standard followed all over world. im just curious to know. take it easy.
