But I do have a laptop with 256GB storage & currently I cannot afford a laptop more than these specification. Can I begin my course with this? 2. I haven't get my EWS certificate yet. So can I continue as general & add my EWS certificate later while learning the course? 3. Are educational loans allowed for this course? This is urgent. Because I'm not sure how many time is needed to get my EWS Certificate. 4. Does it provide any kind of internship? 5. Will I be able to enroll in BS in Electronics System after completing BS in Data Science from IITM?
Ans.1 yes it good till diploma. In degree level when you will study deep learning then only you need a high end laptop 2. Yes you can, IITM is very helpful in these situations. You can make your EWS certificate online by going to any computer shop which takes less than a week at max. 3. As I said after fees waived of due to EWS certificate you don't need a education loan and neither provided by any bank. 4. Both Internship and placement to skill students only. 5. Sorry to say but question 5 is rediculous and immature like you are just passing time of your precious life or you don't have any serious goals in life "right now " because after investing 4 years in DATA SCIENCE you want to do electronic systems 😮 which is very different field then data science. you should have asked for job opportunities or higher studies in same or similar field. I have given 10 minutes answering these questions, I hope you will understand 5th points . That was not to demean you but to shake your delusion.🙏

There is no courier service available for the hard copies. But it is up to you if you want to go there t collect the certificates. Anyways certificates in pdf form are pushed into your student dashboard.

Classes will start from may 31st. If you are in the eligibility list of jee advance, then you need not to take the qualifier exam, you'll get direct entry. If you want to write advance then for now focus on your exam and take the admission here in later terms.

Paradox mein jane se pehle apko register krna hota hai fest ke liye. Or accomodation ke kiye kuch amount pay krna hota hai jis se aap fir campus ke andar hi reh skte ho. Agar apko aisa nahi krna to aap accomodation ke liye pay na krke bahar bhi reh sakte ho.
Yes you get student email id. And to visit the campus during paradox or any other fest, you need to pay a certain amount of registration fee. And if you visit on normal days, you can roam around the campus without any fee or procedure, without getting any hostel/mess facilities.

For qualifier and some subjects in term 1, you can mange with phone. But for subjects like python you need a laptop for practicing coding and giving OPPEs.

Classes will start from may 31st.
If you are in the eligibility list of jee advance, then you need not to take the qualifier exam, you'll get direct entry.
If you want to write advance then for now focus on your exam and take the admission here in later terms.

Maam do we get normal IIT M student email as we get in IIT P course and how can we apply to visit campus tell its procedure
Yes you get student email id.
And to visit the campus during paradox or any other fest, you need to pay a certain amount of registration fee.
And if you visit on normal days, you can roam around the campus without any fee or procedure, without getting any hostel/mess facilities.

For qualifier and some subjects in term 1, you can mange with phone. But for subjects like python you need a laptop for practicing coding and giving OPPEs.

The registration fee you pay is for the 4 weeks' lectures, assignments and qualifier exam. You don't need to pay for anything else

Really hoping a reply from you so my situation is that i have taken a drop for jee 2025 but as a backup i want to start this programme aswell, as in the bs data science the first year foundation level is maths eng snd so other subjects which are quite similar to the syllabus of 11th 12th and wouldn't be too hard to manage along with the drop right ?? How difficult would you consider the foundation level compated tovthe jee preparation? And will i be able to handle their exams assignments quizzes? And for the foundation level how many hours are enough separately to study the foundation course??
Foundation is easy. You can manage it easily.

Fee is different for every level. So 75% waiver means you only need to pay 2.5k for a course of 10k.

i just have a question
i just finished by 12th, and i was always interested in cs field. but i can't get btech in cs from any govt clg. so from state govt clg I'll be pursuing btech in core branches (mechanical or electrical or chemical)( i cant get electronics 🥺)but i want to choose this degree because i have always wanted this.so that it helps me to do cse mtech.
my question is will it be difficult to continue this with btech in core branch i.e will btech in cs will be easier? i.e should i take btech cs in a pvt clg instead of core in govt?

Yes. If you pursue both the degrees in the same field that would be much easier rather than to pursue degrees from different fields.
