Wayne Hilson thanks to this comment I now know that is, and I now know were that came from. thanks
Wayne Hilson but flash Gordon was made in the 70s not the 80s
I cheered at this reference in the original episode.
I miss the 80's.
Aw that 3rd one hit the feels, RIP John Candy
HOLY SHIT THAT WAS JOHN CANDY? Lmao no wonder why he seemed so familiar
Chris where have you been? I DONT KNOW😂😂 this still has me dead like 10 years later
Love the planes trains and automobiles reference
“Hahahahahaha! Movie references.” Except for the kids and friends part I don’t remember that in the dialogue.
That part with hawk army made me LOL 😂
Chicago MOMA scene was from Ferris Bueller for the youngins who haven't seen it. Spoiler alert, so is the ending of Deadpool :).
3:06 I Love This Reference haha
Love the Aha video. LOL
Chris Palmer better than the original
The 80s were so cool
Millenials today can not understand much of this
cabellero1120 Nope! Not all Millenials are hipsters. Some certain millennials are flexibly and acknowledging after seeing this: czcams.com/video/11hauEzyQC8/video.html and this was shown after the Lion King.
Millennial include people from 1981 onwards
You mean the "entitled" generation?
The kids who recieved gold stars for going to the bathroom?
the "everyone is special" generation?
80 were awesome! X Generarion miths: Rambo, Rocky, Chuck Norris, Empire Strikes Back, Blade Runner, Indiana Jones, Goonies, Madonna, Micheal Jackson, Queen. The best of the best! Millenials mith: youtubers.
cabellero1120 you guys are so gay lmao, do you guys even hear yourself when you say shit like that.
I love the "take on me" part.
Planes Trains and Automoblies is a great movie. One of the few Thanksgiving movies out there. I watch it every year
Only Peter changed one part of the lines from wife and customers to kids and friends.
The mess around 😂😂😂😂
3:06 was my favorite. Or the Flash Gordan one
100% historically acurate
Idk why but i felt the urge to cry at the aha reference
Doc Brown made an indirect reference to George Washington Carver
The Aha bit was number 2 for me but the number one was Peter being John Candy in Planes Trains and Automobiles.
Ah, the 80s...when life still had meaning.
It was the high water mark of human life on earth. Its all been downhill ever since.
#winningbro..
moncorp1 sure feels that way some days the internet makin everyone cuckoo
That's because we all thought we were going to die soon.
And how right we were, how right we were.
This message comes to you from beyond the grave and is sponsored by, AHHH SO 80's
TAAAAAKKKKKKKKEEEEEEE ONN MEEEEE
You had me at hawkmen
The Marty one I get but it doesn't make sense. They see him for 2-3 days at most, then never see him again covering the period of at least 20 years until Marty is 16 - he has 2 older siblings in the film so they have 2 kids together before him. If Lorraine had cheated with him when he was around he would be the oldest and born a short while after but he wasn't. Also, how do they remember a guy's face that they haven't seen for that long? I don't remember the faces of people I went to school with for a decade 20 years later!
The aha one was perfect
I swear Planes Trains and Automobiles is one of Seth's top favorite movies
I always get milk from the back but I still haven't seen aha
They need to do a back to the future remake like star wars
Flash gordon what a classic loved by the world.... there is no comparison now a cult like that.
I wish I could have lived the eighties.

National Peanut Board states that Kellogg received a patent in 1896 for a technique he developed for making peanut butter. There’s also an 1897 advertisement for Kellogg’s Sanitas company Nut Butters that pre-dates all other competitors.
The 90s weren't too bad, either
Flash Gordon, Ferris builer days off, return of the Jedi with animal house, etc
Whats the song playing while stevie is looking at the painting?
Bruh 0:03 that reference made no sense but flash Gordon is a good movie, this scene never ceases to make me laugh
that song minny the moocher is much older then The Blues Brothers. Cab calloway sang it years before he ever was in that movie.
Wasn’t Marty’s name when he met his parents in the past Calvin Klein?
mustangtech331 yes it was on his underpants
They thought it was because of the name on his pants yes but he told Lorraine he wanted to be called Marty as it was his nickname
what's the music when stewie is at the art gallery?
I’m thinking there is a reference to “Heavy Metal” in this one, also maybe “The Bucket List,” but those weren’t “80s” movies.
Dave Davis heavy metal, 1981
which part?
What was the one with those flying Vikings?
Ha di ha di ha di ha
What music is in the third one and the first one
This should just be called references not all are from the 80's especially minny the mocher that was done way before the sixties, the guy did it in a movie that came out in 1980, but it was popular way before then. It's like hello mothah hello fathah everyone knows it and sang it at camp or concert.
Lol...You have to for for a III and start it with the classic "Tommy Tutone" reference LOL

I've never been able to figure out what the "Do The Mess Around" song gag was about, it's not Blues Brothers.
It's from Planes Trains and Automobiles when John Candy and Steve Martin are travelling down the highway
i think the flash one might have been from the 70s actually
