1965-1966 the Army's foot soldiers still wore the high visible name tags - by 1967 everything went to low visibility tags. Also the Jungle fatigues with the slanted pockets came into style, the first edition had the buttons outside the pockets, but the complaint was that the buttons keep you too high off the ground when you hit the deck...so they hid the buttons under the pocket flaps.
