Sir may be your previous generation graduates from Government College Lahore might have taught by my Grand Pa. My Tau ji went to the same college too. Yes! Dear Abrar, I have experience of living and visiting in detail Faisalabad 4.5 decade ago, when it was known with its original name Loyal pur. It was a very small town comprising of a tower and the adjacent eight bazars only. In surroundings it was all agricultural land and 'havelies' of Sikh land lords. It was a very peaceful town and no traffic rush or pollution of ever seen. Within these eight bazars, beautiful houses of Sikhs, constructes by brick work showing Sikh architectural design were seen. One thing more I want to clear, the Rail bazar was called because there was a railway track laydown witin this bazar which was connected with the Loyalpur Railway Station to transport agriculture products of this area to other cities of the region.

I have heard the name of this Faisalabad area many times from a friend of mine, I like that everyone in this area is Islamic minded, if we were not separated then I could have come to Pakistan very easily, Insha Allah I will come one day.
You're a great ambassador for PAK, and lots of ppl love you, so while you are travelling in PAK you should advise ppl of cleanliness and safety, when you look at these BAZAARS etc, they're filthy, with electric wires and posters and rubbish thrown everywhere, we feel embarrassed when we compare our country with others. @@ShahidKhan-np6ei clearly you've missed my point, the problem is ppl who haven't seen rest of the world, they can't even see the problem. It's not just about the litter on floor, posters on walls, wires hanging around, dirty cooking places, traffic noise, air pollution, open gutters, footpaths blocked by the shop keepers and the vehicles parked every where, all this needs to be managed properly by the authorities in the cities, but unfortunately in PAK ppl responsible ,are not interested or capable of bringing their country to the international standards.

If you live in a country of 10 or 50 million people that is no comparison for a 250m people country.
And if your rich enough why don't you go to the richer parts of town,
Poorer people do not afford the luxuries your talking about.
Pakistan is not a heavily taxed country where 60 to 70% income is taxed and your left with 30%.
And your talk about wires hanging about they do not afford underground wiring, especially being a very hot country.
I guess you have been fortunate enough to live in the west. And talking as if your a first class citizen there.
