You are right about values. I'm 67 years old. I grew up during the time when we were taught respect. Today it seems no one has respect. BTS really gives me comfort. These 7 young men are so talented and respectful. I wish the world would learn from them.
Agree. Maybe it's our age...65 here...it seems the world has changed so much. I hope that BTS continues to be just who they have always been and aren't forced to make 'westernized'-type changes, especially in their message. Frankly, I just do not trust Hybe America, at all.
I think we have to remember that how we speak to people with respect changes with the times too. How your grandmother would have talked to someone with respect is different how you may have done so and so on. She might have said your generation had no respect either 😁.
A good example is the phrase "your welcome". Many of us were taught to say your welcome after a thank you. Now it's "no problem" after a thank you because it's genuinely no problem for them to do what they're being thanked for. This is a version of respect.

You are correct about martial arts. The benefit is belief in yourself and knowing what you can and cannot do at a given time, it is empowering! Please watch Run BTS 127 and you will see Jimin attempting to overcome a challenge and the perseverance he shows is amazing! He refuses help from the staff and was a true example of "try try again". The game starts at ep 126 if you want the whole thing! Enjoying your content!

It's 640am here in America. I have to work today. I can't wait to watch it on my lunch break. I work from 8am-7pm. I haven't worked that long of hours since I was in the medical field. Please pray I make it through the day. Lol. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

Jimin looks like a baby mochi but has such "Bushido" spirit....🙏 In many junior high school in Japan, for an athletic class we can choose from Judo, Kendo and Karate. I chose Kendo (sword). The uniform is pretty heavy and stiff, and it was very difficult to manipulate the long sword. Not many people actually practice Kendo outside of school, so I can imagine how serious he wanted to do it. Taekwondo is so cool too! It requires flexibility and core strength, which Jimin excels at. BTW loved your imaginary marriage life with Jimin😆

Here's info, I'm reposting, that some still aren't aware of:
❤️JIMIN, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals.
JIMIN has now won the prestigious titles for 3 yrs in a row, for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, also now 4 yrs in a row!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. And yes, agreed, society is lacking values, to its detriment. I did Judo as a child/teen, got up to blue belt, was studying for brown when I stopped 🤷♂️ Martial arts really do teach life lessons and instil values, I can only speak personally for judo, but I think most of them have similar principles/codes of conduct and expectations of the students - my sensei was very strict on the judokas, honour was vital.
Jimin is amazing, many see his exterior and of course he is beautiful, they watch him and notice how sweet and kind he is, and they dismiss him (sometimes) as small, weak, feminine (🤷♂️), a pushover…But no, for me he is the epitome of masculine beauty - and although he is far from narrow-minded (he is always willing to listen), he has the courage of his convictions and doesn’t hesitate to do what’s right even when it’s difficult, he sets very high standards for himself and keeps going until he meets them, and physically, he is powerful, graceful, elegant, with extraordinary balance and core strength. Oh, um, and the best legs I have ever seen… There, i said it!

I actually took Taekwondo and Karate when a teenager and recommend it to anyone thinking about pursuing the training. It was such a positive influence that has stayed with me for life. I am amazed at how much Jimin achieved in his life even before signing with Bighit.

Jimin, jk, suga, and jin all have black belts in Taekwondo now. Jk does boxing and Jimin is starting to box now.

Jimin is very humble and down plays a lot of his skills. However, he does like praise in his dancing and singing skills. He almost didn't make it in BigHits because he was trained in hip hop first. After training in contemporary, ballet, and modern dance, it was hard for him to retrain his body for hip hop. He almost got kicked out of BigHits 8 times because of it. He was not trained in singing either and what I read, BigHits did not train him in singing so he worked hard and trained himself. I am sure he has had training by now but at the time he only had 6 months to 9 months training with BigHits (not in singing) while all the other members had 2 to 3 years training before their debute. Jk started training early in singing but no training in dance. Jin had no experience in singing or dancing when he joined BigHits, RM was an underground rapper and so was Suga but had no dancing skills when they joined BitHits. JHope was a hip hop street dancer but no singing training when he joined BitHits. Tae wanted to be an actor so I don't think he had any training in singing and dancing either. It is a miracle that any of them made it to the number one band in the world. CONGRATULATIONS to all of them for their hard work. If any of this information is wrong, please research it and correct me.

Now I seen too many videos proving me wrong. Jimin and bTS still practice those 5 values . No one preserver more than jimin, he almost got cut by bighit like 8 times . But he never gave up.

Jimin had a knee injury I think. something that he will always have and that is the reason why today he does not do such acrobatic things but watching him is a pleasure. Today, every time he performs live, he has a way of moving that the other guys don't have. And his posture as a dancer is something that leaves me breathless. Watch how Jimin stands or how he puts his feet either when he dances or when he is in his daily life. Jimin is art wherever you look at it. My 7 boys are each one stands out in something different. It comforts me to know that if someone tries to attack Jimin he will know how to defend himself 🥋🥊💜
Not true. Dancers always sustain injuries, especially considering the heavy schedule of performing when on your. But what you saw was during that period, since then and to this day as shown in many behind the scene clios as well as performances, Jimin is still more then capable and indeed has performed many flips, leaps , & what you refer to as acrobatics. He keeps himself in excellent shape. Plus the reason Jimin has always had those spectacular abs is not just for helping him with endurance and ability for dance moves, hi score strength also helps Jimin achieve his amazing vocals, with that much stamina, power, endurance and strength. Before assuming and saying things as fact, it would be appreciated if you confirm what you say as fact beforehand rather then mention something you saw in an ep of Burn the Stage filmed bt 2017 & 2018. Lol. Jimin has performed so many acrobatics, leaps & flips since then!!!
Jimin once said that he has many injuries (maybe due to stunts) and the pain is accumulating everyday. I’m glad in Ptd concert we can see Jimin is hitting gym and bulking up. He really lost so much weight in 2016-18. Now he’s getting fit again

Believe it or not, dancers re-shape their bodies to achieve certain aesthetics for their performances. There is a video of Jimin's high school dance teacher sharing an anecdote of Jimin showing her his muscles he had developed from training a certain movement. Anyway, if you think the bulky-thighed Jimin of 2015 could pull off the same dance lines and artistic expression for BST, Lie, Serendipity, and Filter choreos, then that's you. But more importantly, he's a grown man and he knows his body better than you or I.

For power, no BTS members even other idol groups can compete with Jungkook (that why he always won for wrestling championship for idol competition). But Jimin is more flexible n agility than JK. (Btw, JK also possess so many martial arts like Jimin)

Actually, JK only took Taekwondo classes like a many young kids do in Korea. Since he signed with BigHit at such a young age he never achieved a blackbelt, but as you saw even in this vid just shown, that JK himself said he did achieve a Red Blackbelt, Suga mentioned he acheived yellow at the time. But RM and Jin I beleive also took Taekwondo classes when younger. But none for as long as Jimin, who also goes all out and want to be 'the best' at whatever he does. Like for kendo, he himself said he hit that bag 1,500k times a day with.
@@abbiem7773 in game caterers 2020, Jin revealed that he has blackbelt in taekwondo, his scored 7 out 10 at taekwondo competition. JK was redbelt in 2014 but we never know if he still continued his taekwondo to get blackbelt. Like how he keeps learning new martial arts like wingchun and boxing

@@miyuryuu7260 all BTS members are actually enough trained to defend themselves and fight back yet so humble. My man Jin has a blackbelt, I hope he again starts his training with Jimin and JK.
