One of my favorites to ever wear a Steeler uniform
Crazy he was the RB for both recent titles!?!? Wow! And he had a 146 yard game in the second run!? And a huge Td run in the first SB!?
One of my personal favorite Steelers and without a doubt the funnest running back I have ever seen. IMO dude woulda been an HOFer if he didn't mess up his leg.
True Steeler fan here loved Willie Parker and the work he put in for The steel City
One of the best beside the bus bettis
It’s players like this we forget about that we’re so good!
Madden 07 on GBA is the reason I’m a Steelers fan, they were the first team I ever won with. Pitch outside to Willie Parker was half my offense. Absolute legend
Willie was a bad dude back in the day.
People don’t realize how close willie was to being an all time great. Injuries derailed his career right at his prime. Through 2005-2007, he had 1200, 1400, and 1300 yards respectively. In 2007 he broke his leg and was never the same. Its a shame but I believe willie still deserves his praise! Especially helping us win superbowl 40
Willie Parker was a beast.
Have a bunch of Steelers jerseys but Willie Parker’s was my first one , still have it
You just earned a new subscriber
No music,just commentary 💯
thank u for subscribing....... i hope u enjoy
Def remember that run the super bowl. Love this channel
Everyone always talks about his speed...but bruh actually had vision and could break tackles also. Miss you Parker! Plus...Big Ben's improvising was incredible.
Never forget one run against Cleveland on Monday night. The camera was in the defensive backfield looking at the offense and there was a tiny gap between the Offensive linemen. Like about 12". And then you see Willie lift both his feet up, squeeze and kind of turn sideways and he just squirted through. The coolest thing ever. I played it back a dozen times.
He from where I’m at so this gives me hope
A STEELER since i was 6yrs old everything they do i feel personally involved in & I'll be waiting patiently for the barry foster highlights next, also bam morris....
Here because he is my immediate first thought when I watch Devon Achane
That boy could move
Subbing. You are the man for uploading these highlight videos for some of the lesser known players. Thank you
Great stuff Jsn!
thank ya....
I feel like alot of steelers forgot about him bc he randomly left to play for Miami. you don't hear much about him anymore
The decade that Pittsburgh was amazing
Great video. Willie P was great for the years he played. Another one of them Steeler for lifers having played only for the black and gold in his nfl career.
3:30😂
He was my favorite player as a kid
We need runner like Willie
Anthony McFarland
@@treybriggs6445 The Lord has answered my prayers
Lol I’ve been wanting the same thing
@@treybriggs6445 We can only hope he's as good as Fast Willie Parker. McFarland has jets tho!
May I present to you Najee Harris
I was at graduation and I saw him in irl everyone was surprise lol and this guy go fast as hell
This is the best highlight channel on CZcams you post the players people have forgot about I love it I’ve been watching videos since 2am lol it’s about 6am now
my fav steelers rb got almost 3 rings for us!!!
One of the GOAT to ever play in the nfl
Great Back
At 9:12 the commenter said "I'm starting to think he's one of the most underrated runners in the league" #Fact dude was cold, no 🧢
Oh I wish we had that O line today
Great content Jsn! Would you happen to have Randy moss’ pro bowl 1999 highlights?
I have the one in 99 but i believe you are looking for the 2000 pro bowl when he had over 200 yards......and I don't think i have that one
Dis Brotha here was so fast, but his career was just as fast as he was, cause he came and went.
Joshua Harris Tomlin Ran him into the ground literally
@@nt6505 yeah he wasn't a every down back, he was a scat back
he literally destroyed the titans defense that game.. I think he had like 230+ yds
@@joshuaharris6934 just a nasty knee injury versus the rams. He was a great starting back
I like food Oh ok, that explains it....
Never forget that Tennessee game , his first start, couldn’t believe what I saw from this running back. Then hearing the story about how Dan Rooney used to watch him play prior to NFL , yep the Genius of Dan Rooney who also was responsible for demanding the Roethlisberger pick, Cowher had a OT in mind, Dan Rooney shut that down 😉
'Tough' Willie Parker.
Good ol fast willie.
Reminded me a little of USC Reggie Bush. Had good blocking, but he took everything he was given and ran with it. Ran fast as hell with it.
Better than bush, can actually run between tackles and stay healthy
Knew him personally, great guy and very tall!
He was 5'10 nothing to write home about
I like food I guess cuz I was like 7 at the time...
@@herhzy4991 lmao na do u if hes tall as hell rock out
How tall are you?
I wish somebody would make a Tony Boselli and a Mark Brunell. Maybe JSN can hook it up :)
1:49 omg 😱 💀
You know the highlights are old when Heath Miller is a rookie....
We bleed black & yellow for life
This dude had no wiggle no joke no spin no stuff arm just ran fast he was ok
@2:11 Hines Ward cracked somebody 🤣🤣
I'm starting to think JSN is a fellow member of Steeler Nation. 🤔
Also, "First", since people seem to enjoy doing that.
Edit: Yeah, I don't really feel any different.
lol......Never........
Looked up to THE BUS!
Steelers is giving Big Ben his Big Back and his Fast Back and his Big WR!! Plus a top 5 defense again!! Great TE’s!!!! Wow! McFarland reminds me of this just he’s faster and quicker!!
I seen a video the other day saying mike Tomlin is getting that feeling he had when James Harrison , troy polamalu Ryan Clark etc was on the team.. 2020 just might be the year for the steel city!
@@mideasternpapi4750 If Big Ben stays healthy, if not, Steelers have nothing behind him. Mason Rudolph needs to sit and watch for a season before being thrown into the fire again.
Steelers 7-0 in the post season with Parker starting and 0-1 without him. Not to mention 2-0 in Super Bowls and when they went back without him they lost
Parker looks like Madden on rookie!!!
Steelers were 7-0 post season when Willie started and 0 -1 when he didn't (due to injury)
I forgotten has fast he had to be to earn the nickname "Fast" Willy Parker
Let’s See Eddie George Too
Do Clinton protis or Willis mcgahee
44 secondz in
Now Jaylen Warren .. Willie parker family .. Superbowl coming
Im just waiting for joey porter lol
93HonestAbe Me to!
Can we Please See Bo Jackson. Football highlights. He doesn’t have enough everyone shoes the same 4 plays I know if anybody can find some good ones it’ll be you
Reminds me of Napolean Kaufman with the quickness but i can see Willi fast quick not fast. Quick Willi Parker. Tons of the faster DBs woulda ran him down. Its rare to be a RB and have that 5th gear. CJ and Bo had it. After 40 yards Parker losses his strde and maybe training woulda changed that idk Ok now i didnt say he wasnt fast lol
We Need Jamaal Charles, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Marshall Faulk, Larry Johnson, Michael Turner, Deangelo Williams
SALUTE 🫡 ..
Is it me or these people really weren’t trynna tackle him
Steelers best 5 RBs:
1) Bell
2) Bettis
3) Parker
4) Harris
5) Foster
I’d kill for an rb to take it to the house 50+ yard rn
maybe that back we took out of maryland can get that done for us
DRAFT DAMIAN HARRIS PLEASE 😂😂💯💯😎
How do you say he's so fast when the defensive back from the Saints caught him so did a couple other guys when he broke free
That was his nickname........
He wasn't long distance fast but he had one of the fastest 20 yard acceleration speed I ever seen
They had the angle on him. What about the 75 yarder in the S.B. or the 80 yarder against Cleveland?
People don't understand outrunning the defense as a RB is a lot tougher than as a receiver everybody has a 10-20 yard headstart on you. There's only a handful of backs in NFL history who could do it consistently.
