I'm 60 year's old i was at this race with my father oil burner was my favorite horse muss those day's
My father sam e smith raced there for years I would go there every chance I could loved seeing my father race ,plus most of the time he take us to the bean bag, or jack in the box right next to the track ..l
WHEN DRIVERS MADE MORE MONEY LOSING A RACE THAN WINNING IT.
Max was great
Burner and Bennie then came to the old Syracuse (NY) Mile and won a huge race there in August - was there that day-forgot name of the race though
Wolfpack took the follower's out of the race. Oil burner was on fire 🔥
OTB WAS BRAND NEW
Benny the Whip
OIl Burner did not sire many good ones, but No Nukes was a foundation sire.
The OTB letters to numbers were the dumbest thing created.
