Fighting/MMA has given my deaf/nearly blind adult son a purpose. It's his passion and the guys have welcomed him with open arms. He'll never be able to fight but he just FILMED his first MMA event on top of the cage on Veteran's Day Wknd. He's a father now and he never ceases to amaze me. He's showing his son you can accomplish anything. I'm sick proud. Fighters have the biggest hearts.

Thankyou as always for sharing and inspiring us all to train hard and smart, just a question, when you (and everyone else) say ju jutsu and mean Brazilian ju jutsu, which has been around since 1926, not japanese ju jutsu, that has taught military and security professionals since the 17th century? Love that you have tryed jjj and fma? As they all have different stings to add to your bow? Always happy to discuss, keep up training hard 💪

A man can become a killer to save a child, and child killer can become a hero to save a man. One is not a killer at all may he be a perfect man? So may you be a violent man whom Is a killer and savior. I believe so. I know so. I knew a man whom killed a child and became and man savior. But a man whom kills isn’t a bad man, I do. A man whom kills is a man just the man whom isn’t perfect, for a perfect man would love in every situation, for love is better than to kill. So you may kill, but I am to be more than a killer. A perfect man. ✝️ So is it to be a violent man, for are not the violence that has killed a perfect man.

Ju jitsu in an unarmed world and in a one vs one scenario, good... But in the real world the mindset and false sense of confidence you get from it will put you at a disadvantage. A novice knife fighter will absolutely fuck your day up, a 10 year old will put 3 rounds in your gut before you can touch them, and tyrique's friend will boot your head off while your doing your fancyiest choke on him. It's a strong sport skill and a way to get physically fit, nothing more.
