Those are gen 5 Viper tires , gen 3and 4 used a 345 Michelin.

I fucking love these cars. Hell even a base c5 with full bolt ons and a mild cam will make 450whp all day long. Wouldn't give my c5 up for anything but another vette.

My dad inherited my grandfather's '00 C5, put a Vortec supercharger on it and he even says it's the only vehicle he's ever built that has scared him.

I'm hoping that "spinning the tires at a 60-roll" claim was meant as a joke. My 2010 Z06 has a built (slightly) and supercharged LS7. Here in Florida, where it's hot and humid most of the year, I still put down 691whp (torque was 620) when tuning it on the dyno. I can spin around 40mph but definitely not at 60mph. If he's really spinning at that speed, he needs to drop those 355mm Pirellis (never liked them myself) and try the Kumho ECSTA. I'm running 345s out back and hook up like a drag tire. Really comfortable ride, as well. Nice car. Good post. Cheers.

Dude is a straight dork. I love him. I own a Z06 w a pro charger (750hp). And I felt the same amazing feeling he had. I laughed nonstop. He is on point.
Nail it through the gears its made for it.To get the real feeling of the power you need to hit the top of fourth gear after having nailed it through the previous three.

LS7 at the time it was first produced it was the biggest and most powerful naturally aspirated small block ever made its a amazing engine who doesn't like a 7.0 liter 427 V8
Just nitpicking...The LS is not referred to as a "Small block" since it has nothing in common with the "Small Block" from 1955 and there isn't a modern "Big Block" solidify its name. People don't call modern Ford and Chrysler engines "Small Blocks" for the same reason.
GM classifies it as a 4th generation small block but I understand what u mean

@@manneredcheetah6665 No that's actually a big motor for todays standards in America but years ago it wasn't considered big because alot of cars had 500 cubes or more like some Cadillacs and even the Ford Galaxy 500 for example. I think the biggest motor put in a production America car recently was in the Dodge Viper 8.3 liters i believe 512 cubic inch V-10 .
@@manneredcheetah6665 big block doesn't mean displacement! that's a common misconception. Big Block / Small Block is dependent on bore size IIRC.
You need to review a stock C6 Z06 for comparison. The C6 Z06 has been on my radar for a while. :D

630 HP is more like it. *Stock shortblock, *reworked heads, *bolt-ons, and a BTR Stage 2 Cam??? Yea I'd say 530 to 540 to the wheels. More Compression, More Cam and better flowing heads then I could see 700 hp being realistic
Goto c6 zo6 forums. People are making 630rwhp with the B3 cam. So this b2 cam making 600 is completely believable. The reason is these cars are underrated just like most of the LS engines. 505 stock hp but they dyno stock more than that.
530whp is Boltons and a tune for an LS7 lol. He said it makes around 600whp which equates to around 700 crank hp. I believe this setup is around 580-600whp all day long.....

My father put the complete Z06 exhaust (2005 Corvette LS2 with magnacharger) including manifolds all the way back including the mufflers, amazing how much power is killed when closing the exhaust butterflies.
When i saw the thumbnail i was waiting for a "Hell Yeah Brother", a "Do It for Dale" and a Bald eagle petting segment.
The calipers aren't made by brembo on C6 Z06s. I thought this too till I took some apart to powder coat them and discovered they are in fact made by some company called PBR.

This are not Brembo calipers, its PBR brake calipers from an Australian company. They also made all calipers on base C6.

Oversize tires might look kool, but will cause traction issues on a factory sized wheel. A 12" wide rear wheel is not made for anything bigger than a 325 tire. Sure, a wider will fit, but grip will be sacrificed with a wider tire.
MH motorVlogs 335-345 are a true fit on a12 rim Amy bigger then go to a12.5-13 inch

700 fwhp means he put 630 to the rear wheels on the dyno. With his mods… he may have put down 560sh which is 615ish at the flywheel.

@1970 chevy chevelle ss Shouldn't be a problem to get close to 200 engine hp from a cam/head upgrade. Ls1 4th gens start with(underrated) 305-345hp and if you throw a big cam/head package you are over 400rwhp. So thats over 500 engine hp. Same applies here. If you don't believe me just goto the c6 forums. Guy had a slightly larger b3 cam and similar mods and made 630rwhp. The car in this video the guy says 600rwhp.
he means to the engine, but still 600 whp seems a little generous for a stage 2 cam
they make 600wheel pretty easy

Car sounds fuckin good when you did the outside startup. BTW the car didn't backfire that would be very bad...it "afterfires" big difference, usually happens when you run a cat less setup!

That's one happy dyno to get 600RWHP out of a H/C/I/E BTR stage 2 cammed car... Normally that's BTR stage 4 cam territory. Dyno sheet for proof please?
I believe his exact numbers were 586whp on a mustang dyno.
RP Productions Makes a bit more sense - mustangs can be toyed with a bit more than dynojet's most C6Z guys use dynojet as a standard apples to apples comparison for setups. Fun car nonetheless, I've got a 609RWHP (dynojet) car with a bigger cam and essentially the same bolt ons and it's a hoot! Your reaction to the first pull is my reaction every time I drive mine.

No way this car has 100whp in drivetrain loss. Whatever the loss was when stock (40'ish whp) will always be its loss and doesn't magically take twice the amount of power to turn the dyno rollers after doing bolt ons.

That's just under what I'm pushing on my Grand Sport. After 18 months of ownership, this car still scares the shit out of me.
Again, don't put 355 tires on factory width wheels 12".... put the proper size on if you want grip. Smaller width tires if you "don't" want traction and the same applies for wider tires

definitely only on par with a chevy cobalt interior. virtually every other car was nicer in 2009 except for economy cars.
Easy fix, full carbon Tillet race bucket seats + non airbag racing wheel, + carbon door crads
If the interior is in a par with everything else from 2009 ...then while the hell mention it...its not a bmw.. bmw are so bland...its a Corvette for christ sake...fantastic..stop trying to justify it..just say its fantastic....
