What a great travel day. I would never risked such a short layover time as that would definitely have been far too stressful for me. Glad you had enough time to get to the next flight. Had no idea the contemporary had themeing like that. It looks fantastic. Looking forward to seeing how you celebrate your parents anniversary throughout this vlog series.
It was a great day! We would normally not book that flight either but it was the only one available from our airport sadly, but we made it with plenty of time to spare! The Contemporary new theming is wonderful✨Thank you for watching!

Thank you! And so happy to have you here🥰We do keep the mugs as collection items! We don’t get them every trip, just the longer trips, so we don’t ever have too many! In the past, we have donated them to make room for new ones! I hope you get to experience all the magic so soon🫶🏻🫶🏻

Glad you made the flight connection!! I loved how you just had to take the elevator down and the place to get resort mugs and snacks was right there.
It was so nice being inside of the main building to have access to the drink refill station and snacks!

I somehow missed which resort you had previously book but love that you chose the Contemporary as I've been anxious to see the new Incredibles theming. We are finally (after 12 years) visiting WDW during the first week in October staying at Riviera Resort and your excitement is contagious - we are so amped up now!

We like Mears Connect because it just feels safer. I always suggest it for girls trips, solo trips, and moms traveling alone with kids.

I hate the how they re themed the rooms, to me it just looks like leftovers they had from Art of Animation, they could’ve done so much more for the resort. We own at Bay Lake Tower and we love it. We stayed at the Contemporary and had a theme park view before the remodel and there is nothing better than sitting on the balcony and watching fireworks.
I completely agree that not everything at Disney needs to be themed to a character or movie. I think a good option would have been to have a selection of rooms with this theming and just modernly upgrade the others. But overall we were so in awe of the Contemporary/BLT. When we think about DVC it was never on our list but now it 100% is!
How long does it usually take to get from pop century to the parks?
If you’re heading to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom via the bus system I would say 15-20 minutes after you get on the bus. If you’re using the skyliner to Hollywood Studios about 10 minutes and to Epcot probably about 12-15 minutes! With the buses you do have to account for longer wait times to get onto the bus or waiting for your bus to get there, we’ve waited up to 20 minutes for a bus before so could be a 40 minute time to get from Pop to Magic Kingdom for example!

Do you have to pay for the resort mugs?
Yes! They are usually about $25 each. If you are on the dining plan, they are included in the cost!
why buy toilet paper? dont they give you that free for your room? i never been , so i dont know
Great question! They do supply it, but it’s literally like tissue paper thin so we order some as a little upgrade!
