Hey, loved this video! Just a small thought: in the final effect, I felt that effect Jordy in that scene looked a bit unrealistic, so maybe I would suggest adding more depth to it - perhaps with an inner glow?

I think cameras are kinda their thing, but I'm not sure.
Just a bit of a correction here: Please dont save your stills as PNG. Use the PSD fileformat and import the different layers in After Effects. This does 2 things: 1. It saves you the export of each individual still frame and keeps your file structure as flat as possible. 2. It saves space and your project only references 1 file with all the stills in it. This makes moving the project to another computer way easier. If you are using Photoshop to get rid of the greenscreen, please use non-destructive methods (!) such as masking layers with path selections. Also make sure to pre-color-correct your objects (to remove green shadow bleeding).

I'm not 100% sure but this effect will look cooler if you would add slow-mo jordy (of course greenscreened) but very slow-mo so it will move slightly. I think becouse "living" objects don't move makes this shoot easy to spot that it is photos+after effects... BUT anyways as always GREAT JOB 💪

GH5 but I would recommend the GH5S ;) it's compact with dual native ISO (really good in low light) has 4K ALL intra 400mbps 10bit internal recording which is really good for editing ... :)

I would say GH5 as well being that it is primarily made for music video/movie production and it also has a built in stabilizer, unlike the GH5s which is a better upgrade from the GH5. Just make sure you have your gamble handy most of the time. The Sony A7iii would be second choice and that’s really good for videos and photos but as far as strictly videos, LUMIX
You'll get these "DSLR" very expensive get some mirrorless camera like canon 5dmiv
Nikon z6 is best and budget frndly but its little bit heavy

I believe you don't have to necessarily save PNGs out of Photoshop. You can just use the PSD files as Adobe recognizes them in all programs. The benefit of this is that even after importing them into AE, any change done in PS will be linked forward.

Actually this is done by masking out parts and placing the in different plane depth and adding a 3d camera/zoom or xyz scale

I am very new to After Effects, but have been so inspired by watching your videos. I wanted to try and replicate this effect. I followed everything in the beginning exactly the way you did...but, as soon as I enabled the 3D button on the background, the picture turned into a solid. What am I doing wrong?
