All I can say is I’m sure I’m quite older than you I grew up in the 80s and 90s but they were really genuine unless they were faking it when I first saw them do toxic on that so I was absolutely mesmerized as a singer myself and a songwriter what I don’t understand is and this happens a lot these people you know they don’t come from you know maybe that even back around and look at all the luck and the love by their fans they’ve been given how could you not be happy especially looking so much in love and I know they were young being in your 20s is young are used to think not until I got in my 40s LOL but god this is a shame and I think I’m going to have to go cry and get me some ice cream wow what awful news I really dreaded that they ever would break up I can’t believe this

The way she looked at him in the first audition for X factor. I’d do near anything to find a girl that can admire me as much as I would admire her
They were so young. First love. They stayed together 8yrs. Under public scrutiny. Thrown into the spotlight at a young age and still in a new relationship. They both grew so much. And they have froen apart for whatever reason. Sad, their voices were like "vocal sex!" But if they have lost that connection they had then it will affect everything if they stayed together. Its their turn to shine as individuals. Find and chase their own dreams independently. I wish them both success and happiness. They gave so much of themselves publicly, it probably broke them.... still, voices of angels, both of them!
I open up my CZcams to listen their music but, it hurts me to see that they broke up. I love both of them so talented.

Seen this couple for the first time in a mixed video. Totally loved their chemistry, style, and sound. As a divorced man with zero hope of ever finding my true love, my eyes actually filled up with tears of joy for they possessed something I’ve always longed for. I felt happy for them and it sparked a small flame of hope inside my heart. And then I read that they are broken up and all those good feelings I had just got flushed down the shitter. Why can’t people stay happy together? Did one have a wandering eye or extremity that caused distrust? I just don’t get it. This world is messed up. Well, back to reality I go. 😔

One day you will both look back and realize how silly it all was splitting up and I guarantee you will say, "we honestly don't remember why we split." It happens to all of us. But one day, and I have no idea when, you will perform again together, and when you do, you will say to each other wow, this feels really good. That's when it will work musically. You don't have to be a couple in order to perform. But mark my words when I say, "this will only be temporary." Because talent like yours does not sit apart forever. The best bands in the world have split up at times. But most of the time, they find there way back to each other musically. And when you do find your way back to each other, we will all be waiting......

There I was - in divorce court getting my divorce - as I was sitting in the wings waiting for my turn - sitting beside me was this older woman in her 70's - she was alone - sitting there - weeping -
I can see the hurt in her watery eyes. I just had to offer her some comfort, we spoke - I offered positive words -
This 'ol woman tells me she was married to the same man for 52 years... But there she sat - in the wings at divorce court.
As she walked away, looking at the floor and nodding her head saying..... And... I thought I knew him!
OMG - I thought - they were married for 50 plus years - and still she doesn't know him...OMG!!!!!!!!

I found in my life's experience it is best never to get back together once a break-up happens.
For getting back together is just a prolonged farewell,
For me, I see a broken relationship is the very same as milk gone sour

Looking forward to Alex making his own music, more talented singer. He was just recently on stage with Jason Mraz.
Alex was more talented? Come on now! She had only 4 months experience when they went on the show and she started killing it. He was a back up singer to her in the end IMO. You could see it and he was pissed she was getting all the attention. In the "Say your name" song she killed it and you could see he was a jerk in the promo in the restaurant scene. Maybe he has more experience, but she was the reason they won.
I think they were both equally spectacular. Granted, Sierra has a much larger vocal range, that’s just fact. They both sing soulfully though, so I’ve never felt the need to compare. Wish to see them both again ❤️
Kurt Rhoney 100% agree. His voice was more seasoned due to experience, but Sierra definitely has a higher ceiling in terms of raw talent.
