Today, we're sharing a recipe of Darbesh laddu, a popular Diwali sweet as well as a traditional Bengali sweet. Darbesh laddu is a type of laddu popular among Bengalis. This laddu is exclusively available at authentic Bengali sweet stores and families. This particular laddu looks like our famous boondi laddu made out of besan. But its not, this Darbesh Laddu is more jucier and flavourful than the regular Boondi Laddu. Darbesh laddu is also called Dorbesh in Bengal.
Follow the steps in this video to make this recipe at home. Besan, Subeda (Gobindo Bhog Rice Flour), sugar, dry fruits, lemon salt, and food colour, nutmeg powder, khoya are all readily available ingredients for this dish. The key ingredient in this dish is subeda, which is nothing but Gobindo Bhog rice flour. It improves the flavour and texture of the laddu. We'll walk you through each step of preparing this dish.

•250 gms Besan
•50gms Subeda( Gobindo Bhog Rice Flour) or can use regular Rice flour
•1 pinch yellow food colour
•Sufficient water
•2 pinches Orange Red Food colour
•1/4 cup Cashews
•3 tbsp Raisins
•2 tbsp Melon seeds
•1/2 Kilo Sugar
•1/2 cup Water
•2 pinches Lemon salt
•100 gms unsweetened Khoya
•Fried Nuts
•2 pinches Nutmeg
