  • Playing along to the song "You're All I Wanna Do" by Cheap Trick from the album "Woke Up with a Monster". I listened to it a few times and got it recorded in the first take. Yet another great song by the group. I like so many songs by them, and this is one of my favorites. It's not a hard song to play, but I just really like it a lot. They've had so many fantastic songs over the years, but for some reason the radio only plays the same two songs over and over. The first time I heard of Cheap Trick was on Detroit radio. The song was "Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace" from their first album which came out in early 1977. I immediately ran out and bought the album. They came to the Detroit area, and I saw them play at the Royal Oak Theater on Saturday March 5, 1977. The opening band was Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Cheap Trick came on next. And the headlining band was the Runaways (which included Joan Jett and Lita Ford). I still have the ticket stub. All bands were great, but Cheap Trick became, for me, one of the best live acts to see. Video recorded Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Thank you Rudy. Having fun here in Detroit playing along to songs I like. Thanks for watching. I enjoy your guitar videos also.
