Like seriously, I think she is actually really strong and I want to spread the word of G Corp Outis being better than The One Who Shall Grip Sinclair and Blade Lineage Mentor Meursault

Hey so small note, for some reason I am genuinely incapeable of basic counting and thought G Corp Outis' Skill 3 rolls a 26, its meant to be 22. But aside from that I hope you enjoy my first voiced video! It took a while to make and 2 nights of skipping sleep. Also like and subscribe so I can get a basic understanding of counting (my counting capabilities are equal to the number of likes)

She also fuels her sunshower which is while no rime shank still a pretty good sinking ego (i think. sadly don’t SS Outis it so its purely hypothetical from what Ive seen of its effects)

Amazing video mate! just one small problem- The initial team you recommed for use with gcorp outis literally cannot trigger her passive without ego. and even then persuance and wishing cairn are decently difficult to fuel for the team lol. Other than that, loved this video
I realise I shouldve added a note for it in the video, but you can just give her the first 2nd action and it's fixed because even if she doesn't have sloth attacks she still has sloth defensive options. Recently did a duo run with G-Corp Gregor and G-Corp Outis was shocked just how well Outis performed she constantly was able to give herself or Gregor much needed protection so they could survive a lot better and midway through the run when I got the rusted coin it only made her even better.

First team I've made at the start of the game was a G Corp Outis centered Shi Association team, particularly pinging Shi Don's s3 skill with the help of Outis' haste buff and giving overall good buffs to the rest of the Shi identities. God, Shi identities needs a proper buff T-T

Haste is generally one of the underrated team comps in general, so its cool to see a video focus on it.

G. Corp Outis was the very first unit I uptied 3 when I first started playing and I am still using her now. (It's also funny seeing the protection stacks with Pequod Ishmael when I used just 2 of them for fun in the EXP dungeons)
It's always fun to see goofy team comps do really well. Silly team supremacy (also, welvader, you silly goose, don't think that the classic yii former arknights youtuber reference wouldn't be noticed, with killing the id you're talking about at the beginning of the video and the comic sans font.) In all seriousness, this was a cool little analysis!

This is so real i can feel the speed coming inside of me. Also if you count in remise+ the g corp outis haste. It goes from 6-10 to a very nice 8-12

She's also just really fun for sinking teams with how she doesn't consume count and her skill 3 applying a lot of sinking potency, not your main source but a good support for it and especially fun if you get the rusty commemorative coin so she can apply 2 attack power up and 4 damage up or 18 sinking potency in one turn which is nothing to sneeze at

No no no, you don't understand how important Sinking is to her support capabilities. (I say, in incomprehensible ramblings) That sinking lowers the enemy's SP, making it harder for them to hit tails. If an enemy has balls-to-the-walls levels of Coin Power, it won't matter as long as they hit tails! It makes it a lot better than Plus Coin Drop! Not to mention that Atk Power Down to further weaken those atk rolls (we don't talk about negative coin enemies here...)
Lmao, anyways, G Corp Outis is goated. She fuels her Sunshower perfectly, especially if you partner her Zwei Greg who also fuels it perfectly~ Her only having 1 Coin Skills makes it so thst she doesn't burn through the Poise Count she gains from Sunshower, and allows her to stack the potency to guarantee Crits with Sunshower and apply the extra Sinking and Sinking Count on enemie. It's absolutely absurd!

I also run a Sinking team, with her included, but I'm also aware that my biggest general danger are the negative coin enemies (for example, a certain Bamboo-hated monster). I still like Sinking, that Rime Shank is goated, but it's something to keep in mind

erm akshually she's probably not yelling at enemies to damage them, the miniboss "Old G Corp. Head Manager", which the outis id is based on, has an s3 called "Mind Wave" which likely means that the head managers attack via some sort of psychic attacks.

Something I can't help but notice wrong is that G Corp Outis' passive, Morale Boost, requires 2 sloth resonance, not owned. And with your suggested team of Cinq Don/Sinclair, Hook Lu, R Corp Heathcliff/Meursault, the only person who has sloth is Outis, meaning for her passive to proc you have to have her on select order 1, and limit her to only using her s1 and block. And in abnormality battles, said resonance is completely impossible. Now, I will admit, if you replace Meursault with any Yi Sangs like you suggested, who do have Sloth, then you're all good to go :thumbsup:
I shouldve put in a note in the video, but you can easily give her the first 2nd action in a battle and she can activate it every turn since her defensive option is sloth :)
g corp outis is pretty good for solos (skill 2 is literally free dmg up and skill 1 free protection)

G outis was basically the only support ID in the game that actually... well supports. With all of her being. All the others up until Ahabmael were a combo of support and something else (ex: KK Ryoshu being a support and damage dealer, especially at U4).
honestly, kinda odd that some people thought she was mediocre when she could be ran on a lot of teams (if there was space) thanks to her having really good buffs (especially that 2 power down on the S3 and the easy to trigger 2 haste from the passive) for just being a 2 star ID

Im surprised that the 20% extra damage + 1 attack strength from her S2 wasn't really accounted for on the theorical damage on the math part of the video.
Specially because you can really effectively manipulate the speed to allow someone with +20% more damage hit a nuke on someone with 4 stacks of fragile because R Heathcliff, as you can use the passive the previous turn to secure 2 people to get haste and skills that grant haste to secure the rest, with that you know with certainty the one that will go last to get those benefits.
You're... actually very right. It could theoretically do more damage than S3 if it's used on Heathcliff, though if I mentioned the skill 2 it would've spoiled the (obvious) plottwist
@@Welvader I didnt mention heathcliff there for the sake of him getting the 20% more damage, i was sayng that so he could grant the last person (speed wise) on the team 4 stacks of fragile on someone you want to erase.
I was thinking on the proposed team, instead of using a whole team that benefits from haste, you have everyone but one person stacking haste, so that one is always last, ideally with a sloth S1 and a nuke so they can contribute to outis's passive and recive the benefits from her S2.
Funnily enough pirate gregor fills both of those requirements, so you can use his S1 with G outis S1 to trigger the haste, so if everyone has haste, he SHOULD be last, letting you go nuts with a fully stacked (thanks to hook lu applying bleed and maybe R heath S2) with +20% damage witch should become +40% more damage because of the double damage of the S3, letting you do really funny numbers overall even more if you add the fragile from R heathcliff

I want to see the lifetime stew video not just because it would be actually interesting, but also because Esgoo would unravel like a poorly-made blanket the second the video is uploaded
As an avid gamer I always loved support characters and roles so thats why this ID is one of my personal faves since release
There's also the Support passives to consider: R-Corp Meursault, W-Corp Ryoshu and W-Corp Faust all buff the ally with the lowest max HP, which in this comp happens to be R-Heathcliff (Haste per 5 charge, one extra Charge per turn and Charge on kill).
With MD3's release, and the clear focus on creating dedicated status teams, I finally began using Gcorp Outis in my sinking team, and I realized a lot of what you talk about here as a result. She is actually really good as a support unit, having some strong effects on her S2 and S3, her passive allows for so much utility and clashing control, and for Sinking teams specifically, her single coin skills means she never consumes a ton of count.
But that said, I really find it hard to use her outside of that one team. Probably her biggest issue is that her S1 is genuinely completely useless. It rolls a 10 without it's UT4 conditional, which even the base IDs roll at least an 11 on their S1. Sure it goes up to a 12 if the target has 5 sinking, but it's really hard to keep sinking count up on enemies without some lucky S3s like you mentioned, so having to get lucky in order to make her S1 not terrible isn't really what I'd call a good investment. And even then, if she uses her S1 anyways, you get 2 protection on the ally with the lowest speed, which 2 protection is an excellent buff, but, it never gets used. The game already has some issues with clashing as, a won clash entirely negates the enemy attack, so why not just work on winning any clash that occurs. Clashing semi-consistently isn't even something that needs a super idealized team, just one that isn't absolutely terrible.
Even factoring in things like times where you don't want to clash and would rather do a one-sided attack, or counters you can't stop, that runs into another issue entirely being "yeah but are they targeting the slowest sinner though?" I really struggle to think of a time where my slowest sinner in any team was the one most in-need of protection, whether in focused or un-focused fights.
And additionally, while she might be able to enable some other Sinners to do rather well, why wouldn't I just spend slightly more effort to use their self-enabling abilities, and swap her out for a stronger ID? Like in your high speed team, she's the only source of sloth anywhere in it, meaning that Outis needs to have 2 skill slots AND ALSO that she needs to either use her S1, or block instead of using her S2/3 to use her passive. Sure, she can more consistently enable several of their best abilities to be at the peak, but most of them can already do that, either via the Cinq's haste next turn, good use of Bodysack or AEDD on Heathcliff, or if you swap Hong Lu out for someone else and use WCorp Hong Lu's support passive, Heath and Meursault become way more consistent in terms of speed.
I know the whole "She's objectively better than Nclair" is partially a joke, as the two are so massively different in roles it's hard to compare them. But I think you touched on something that really shows the reason why, while I think she's pretty good, she still isn't nearly as good as she could/should be. You need the stars to align not just for her, but also for another sinner, to output that high damage just once per 6 turns, whereas Nclair and other "top tier" sinners can just do their thing whenever they want. Like with your RCliff example, he might do 51 more raw damage, but that's IF he uses his S3 at high speed which relies on Outis's passive actually hitting him rather than any other sinner. Meanwhile Nclair can just, use his S2 with somewhat low sanity, and sure maybe it's technically less damage, but "haha orange skill go smash"-ing every 2-3 turns compared to hoping RNG rolls well once per 6 turns on both Rcliff and GOutis.
And that's before factoring in that you can always just, use the Sinner's own kit to enable themselves? If Gcorp Outis requires you to plan for next turn, why not use Heathcliff's EGO or passive, or another support passive to give him the haste needed? Rather than bringing Outis just to enable Cinqclair's coin power bonuses, I could just... use his S1 and get that 2 haste on his own instead. I can just let them enable themselves, and then instead of Gcorp Outis, I could take Molar Outis who adds even more damage to the team, or even 7Outis who clashes like an absolute monster due to her skill abilities making her ceiling absurdly high(S1 is effectively 8 min 12 max, S2 is 7 min 17 max, and only her S3 isn't excellent, being an 8 min, 14 max and 20 if conditional activates), while also both making enemies unable to clash through paralyze, offense level down, and her stupidly high speed range(literally the highest raw speed in the game with 5-8) letting her control clashes, and softening enemies up with 4 defense down(about 12% more damage taken) on S2 and Weakness Analyzed on S3.
Despite all of this, I really like GCorp Outis. Just, in practice she's too finicky to use outside of Sinking teams, and what advantages she does bring aren't strong enough to justify bringing her for those strengths, instead of another ID and just putting in slightly more thinking power into using my team properly.
You make some good points, and yeah the video is made half serious but half jokingly. I made this video because I really like the thought of widely considered bad or underused content being really good is fun to me, thats also why I wanna make a Shi Association video :). Also speaking of sinking, there is a small chance i might make a sequel to this video talking exclusively talking about sinking and how she's the best sinking identity lol

G Corp Outis was always my mainstay for the Mirror of mirrors Hard dungeon, not only because at 45 sanity she became one of assured my clash winners, but also because while benched she buffed my tanks (also yay! 2*). She worked excellently as free K Corp Hong Lu buff to survive the Mirrorclock Orangeroad lol. And honestly if current Mirror dungeons didn’t discourage repeated use of same identities, I would use her more.
I like her since she often fills the specific affinities i need for teams
With canto 6 out, I find maid Ishmael and maid roshu adaptable into this build.

Technically G Corp Outis does outperform NClair, because while NClair only has one skill three, G Corp Outis can buff her haste team's damage by some factor every turn.
It is also worth mentioning, all this extra damage is not including fragile for other units to do damage with, as two haste makes the two people Outism much more likely to outspeed the allies. Making it so that Cinqclair and Heath inflicting fragile also act as support units for the damage of the other units. Assuming they outspeed the others by one, that's 2 stacks of fragile apiece Outis produced for the others.

So comment at the end of the video. Honestly G corp Outis is one of my favorites and is absolutely one of the best IDs but I do have a few nitpicks about the reasoning for your team. Primarily with just how little sloth is there to even activate her passive to support the team combined with the inconsistency of who benefits from the haste as its based on who is adjacent. If she’s the fastest Id (which I find she usually is) then she is only going to give the Haste boost the Second fastest who often doesn’t need it. What does make her strong and contender for one of the best ID’s in the game is the fact that she’s so fast that her skill three’s power down affects all other clashes that turn combined. Secondly how well she synergizes with any of the Yi Sang Identities with Sloth by doing the same with Crows Eye View.
And then there is how well she works in Sinking teams not just for supporting and being supported by it but by also helping Spice Bush Yi Sang be first to aid in procing Deluge before any other characters can gobble it up.
And thirdly even when not even in a team with a hyper specific goal or boosts coins based on speed… Speed is just such an amazing stat regardless of their own rolls. This is mostly because of how useful being able to redirect fast High damage attacks are (6-10 speed range with her passive is just amazing) but also how she perfectly fuels a Teth Ego that outrolls a lot of He ego with a floor of 27.
One last little nitpick, I don’t think its entirely fair or useful to compare her to Ninclair. What makes Ninclair (in my opinion which as more ids comes out becomes more debatable) the best ID in the game isn’t just because his skill 3 is absolutely silly… but the fact that he doesn’t need any other team building to excel, doesn’t need uptie 4 to come online, and has a much higher level of power when other IDs are at their weakest (first few turns). Other ids when not in dungeons require clash wins to ramp up to 45 sanity which sinclair just doesn’t need to wait for. You just click self destructive purge which at the bare minimum rolls a 18.
Tldr: Love goutis, and love more people wanting to experiment with her to maximize her unique strengths, but sadly don’t think the team you recommended works well with her (Namely Cinq Outis is absolutely perfect with her Haste boosts guaranteeing that the 2 slowest will be the most helped in reaching their coin boost thresholds)
You make a good point, especially about the sinking part. Some of my viewers mentioned how good she is in sinking teams and I'm considering making a semi-sequel looking exclusively at that.
Also as for activating her own passive you could give her the first extra action and boom issue fixed, especially with her defensive option being sloth. Though its also why I recommended Yi Sang because he often has sloth as skill 1 and 2 and works very well (who could've thought +2 haste to everyone is strong in a haste team)
The Nclair comparison was just for fun and since he's the most infamous for dealing high damage, so I thought why not try to make the video sillier by comparing G Corp Outis to him. Also Cinq Outis is a good option yeah, but I really made the video because I love low-power stuff being powerful, besides G Corp Outis being stronger would make more people question it and think "wait why not use Cinq Outis?" and then proceed to click. But still, I just wanted to spread the word of G Corp Outis cause I love her and she's fun to use!
Yeh that fair, if we are looking to cut someone for consistency I think you could get rid of R Mersault to get that extra action or add an Ishy as her Blind Obsession passive gives plus 1 haste to the ally with the lowest hp which is very easy to manipulate (probably Boat works Ishy as its the only one I can think of with Sloth) or get rid of Hook Lu so you can have the Wong Lu on the bench and use Don’s telepole to give everyone the charge they need for the passive. Just a couple other combos I thought of for even more zoomies. So the team would look like: Goutis, Mishmael (Blind Obession), Cindon (telepole), Reathcliff, and Cinqclair with Wong Lu on the bench
I mean I tried Solo G Corp Outis before and you know? When she is the only person she gets all the stuff for herself >:3

While its not preferred due to Ebony Stem being that good, the Holiday EGO gives her the ability to just spam debuffs as she buffs her allies. If i ever use G Outis, its with Holiday at least.

Even if I don’t really use G Corp Outis anymore, I still do have a small soft spot for her because she was one of the first identities I got when I first began playing the game.
G Corp outis is the ultimate bug waifu. Also if she’s so loud she could straight up kill people, it sounds like they might’ve given her some cicada DNA or water boatman DNA, yeah if you didn’t know water boatmen are actually a surprisingly loud insect for its body size (from a google search it’s about 99 decibels) and water boatmen are tiny too.

I'm still early in the video, but I'm just gonna say, there's one other insanely strong support ID, and it's just Ahab Ishmael, and one of the big big reason why is the handy handy [Combat Start]. Genuinely wish that G Corp Outis gets that instead of those dumbass [On Hit], she's so cool
I’ve been experimenting with making a tank/support style team comp for some time now. With me getting inspired by it due to g corp outis and how if you get pretty much every 1 coin item in mirror dungeon she becomes a freight train that buffs those adjacent to her.
She would be even more amazing if her support passive provided same turn haste.
