Weekend in New Mexico: White Sands, Las Cruces, & Carlsbad Caverns National Park

- On our way back to Texas for the holidays, we spent the weekend in Southern New Mexico exploring White Sands National Monument, Las Cruces, and Carlsbad Caverns National Park. We had a blast playing in the sand dunes, drinking coffee and eating food, and wandering through the CRAZY caverns!

I went to Carlsbad Cavern many years ago and I could have spent the whole day in there and your right simply Awesome
I learned to remember it this way: stalagmites = they might reach the ceiling someday; stalactites = hold tight to the ceiling Looks like a really cool place to visit.
