And I agree with Sinead that the silver pants need like a streetware styling. Big graphic tee, harness, chunky shoes or sneakers, maybe a bucket hat or those really chunky chain necklaces... Those pants just need that like vaporwave or techwear vibe.
Agreed- over sized grunge flannel with a dark coreset and some stompin' boots; Band tee with long sleeve underneath converse chuck heeled boots with statement belt
i’m so glad they’re making content around thrifting instead of supporting fast fashion brands like they usually do, buying from fast fashion if it’s your only option is one thing, but supporting fast fashion brands on such a big platform is just icky ick

@@robertrogers074 The world is choking on clothing waste. This channel has a big outreach so they can spread the message to a lot of people all over the world about how fashion is bad for the planet.
Yea but also because thifting became such a big thing places like GoodWill can no longer service the people they were meant to serve which is the less fortunate. The less fortunate use to be able to get shirts for $.50 and shoes for $2.00 now places like GoodWill charge just as much as a fast fashion store where shoes are $30 and shirts $15 and up.

for the blue top layers...layers....layers. you could have paired it with a black see through top, black tights with a black leather skirt and add a corset or chunky belt. or you could have put it over a a three tier flowing skit so it blends in and add layer it with belt or corset with a crop jacket, with a whit top under with black boots.
Wearing white after labor day was a classist fashion fad. You can wear whatever you want!

I'm so glad you guys brought us along for the shopping experience.. I really appreciate it when you do that. It's much more immersive, entertaining and wholesome as opposed to just watching you style stuff. So yeah good stuff...hope we get more of these types of videos in the future!❤
Love the idea, love these two together, but a little disappointed that the entire idea was to show trends styled from thrift stores and all they end up saying is that the outfits don't work & are hard to style... no good ideas on how to make them work or good thrifting thoughts. Just felt like a great idea & stylish, fashionable people with a complete miss of execution

The peplam tops are just too 2011. So Sinead's jacket with it is just too Shake It Up. It GOES.... but it's dated in a way that I just don't think works anymore.
With the peplum.. ok wear a wide leg pant and a short jacket. Just try it, yes it's a little more dressy/work but looks so cute.

I bought a silver dress last year and I didn’t have anywhere to wear it but this year is the 25th anniversary of my company and they’re having a silver-themed Christmas party and I’m so excited to finally wear it! (Plus it’s open bar and they have raffles for paid trips wherever you want to go!)

You could style the peplum top with a pedant, skinny jeans, and dangling earrings. Or you go with a tight skirt. Idk, it's hard to style it without going back to the 2000s

I recently found your channel and I love it! Im really into fashion and all that. I think I would style that blue top with some leggings (white or black) and maybe put like ribbons or bows low on the straps and some blue star earrings some silver jewelry and maybe blue leg warmers (not too sure about those XD). I feel like that would look cute (16yrs old)
Edit: Also it might look nice with a long sleeve under it but not with what I put up there ^^^

The peplum would have looked great with a pleated mini skirt and some knee high boots. I think the issue is that you guys only wear crop tops, baggy jeans, and an oversized jacket every chance you get, and while that is comfortable, it's not really committing to the challenge.

I feel like it’s the colours of the pieces you had to style… why were they all light colours? Darker coloured pieces would be more fall as these are more winter colours…
You need a longer coat with a peplum.
Peplums are cute only if they are cropped. full length like that they look weird.

What I envisioned:
1. lingerie- waist length 3 button cardigan and heels
2. Silver pants- burnt orange or deep green sweater half tucked white sneakers
3. Peplum-layered over white long sleeve with wide leather wrap belt dark jeggings & booties❤
I like this channel and these women so zero hate 🤣🤣 but yeah they didn't really try tbh like the peplum top here's what I Invision with it's color and everything k take the peplum top wear it on top of a white tee either short sleeve or long whatever floats your boat kinda pictured it layered over a short sleeved white baby tee k then pair those two things with a black mini skirt some tights boots and a velvety choker necklace to look moody and autumnal 🤷🤷

Peplum just shouldn't come back. It can look classy and nice on the right person, but you just can't style it with a bottom that's not a solid color and skinny. You need to get your 2008 black pleather shorts and a peblum that's not sky blue. That's the only way. The blue one... Maybe it could work with like a pale colored midi dress with low rise waist. Then add some indie sleaze random accessories that look they belong to a MDMA fueled tea party.
To me wearing peplum is the equivalent to drinking Dasani. Is it water yes but you had other options and you should have choose better.

Peplums are NOT flattering on anyone. Can't stand. I love Mads 1st 2 outfits and honestly I think she killed it with the sweater and metallic pants. Gotta have a neutral to tone that pant down. It looked utilitarian, a little futuristic, and so cool.
I _hate_ a peplum top. No matter the style, it just *accentuates* my “muffin top!” Ain’t nobody want that! They also remind me of something a child, no, an infant, would wear. I do not like this whole “coming back into style” moment its having. I actually hate all of these “trends”… am I getting *_OLD?!_* 😱👵🏻🤣
