Going to sub to Max straight after this video, love small town videos
Im from the tiniest of towns in Oregon...1 stop sign..zero stop lights..i moved from there in 72'...LoL
I have already !!! Love max! ❤❤
Hey man, I sure did👍🏿
I have to now since I know he likes the Twilight Zone if you want her what I'm talking about the part when you two are at the train he said next stop Willoughby that's from apart of a Twilight Zone movie
Nice to finally hear someone call Bonnie & Clyde out for what they really were.
You would like the Netflix movie Highway Men. It's about the Texas rangers from their perspective tracking down and killing the couple. It has the same sentiment they where just sadist killers who used bank robbing as an excuse to kill
Yep America makes them out to be like legends they were just some two hicks going around killing ppl for gain ain't nothing good about Bonnie and Clyde fr
@crazychase98 that's a good ass movie
I enjoyed that movie too.
Bonnie and Clyde were 2 human beings Clyde was a convicted felon and Bonnie fell in love with the life style like money for nothing and since she loved Clyde and didn't want anything to happen to him so she started killing the cops as well they both were very bad news
There’s no way that I would sue that airline. If my life was spared from a certain death I would thank God and move on. I find it disgusting at the thought of anyone wanting compensation. Nice world we live in if anyone did.
I don't expect that trauma on a damn river! - and what would affect me and my life forever, so I WILL be suing if it were me!👌
I agree. There was nothing wrong with the plane or the pilot before the birds flew into the engines. They have no control over nature.
Sue airline for what reason. Be thankful that they were spared to live another day. Sue airline for birds flying into the engines! Totally assinine.
The movie with Kevin Costner called The Highway Men to me was the very first movie that portrayed Bonnie and Clyde for what they truly were. No romanticism. The movie showed Clyde for what he was. A cold blooded killer.
It actually portrays Bonnie as the mastermind and real killer of the 2 which was reported several times to be the case. People over looked it at the time since she was a women back in the 30s. It's well-known killer couples, women tend to have control in relationship or be equal in power to the male
There was a documentary that claimed Clyde was S. Assaulted in prison.
I remember that plane landing very well! A real hero in that pilot!
Passengers on that plane said it was one of the smoother landings they had. Amazing
Now that was INTERESTING!!!! Sooooooo GLAD YOU ALL CALLED IT ON BONNIE AND CLYDE!!!! They were nothing more than LOW-LIFE THUGS, WHO STOLE FROM WHOEVER!!!! And Max, Thanks for the "History Lesson!" One of the main reasons I LOVE these type of Channels!!!! There is soooooo MUCH HISTORY UNDER EACH HEADSTONE!!!!
Yep al day long
My mother grew up in Kansas City, KS. She was 16 when they were killed, and had been scared spitless of them. She said the press made them into folk heroes, and that Clyde was no Warren Beatty. Clyde was a cowardly shrimp with a chip on his shoulder, who couldn't deal with people without using a gun. Imagine making them out to be legends.
I think the legends part stemmed mainly from them being the 1st of their kind to do what they did...and to the extent that they did it..not really to make them hero legends...or defend what they had done..but legends in the sense that Jeffrey Dahmer is a legend...people that did things soo horrific (especially at that day and age) that the world will always remember..hope that thought made sense when I put it out into a statement 😂sounded all good and figured out in my mind!although...there is a sense of romanticism naturally involved..they were a couple. So naturally love plays a role, them outside of their crimes were a woman and a man soo madly in love that they'd do the crazy shit they did for and with one another... just my opinion on it all!
I already knew the real history about this couple I never had rose colored glasses on about them but I do kinda feel bad for the families who are related to them cause back in the day people could not tell anyone they were related to Bonnie or clyde
IMO, it's still done to this day. The media and Hollywood make all the scum out to be hero's.
I saw the movie. They were great people. HAHAHAHAH NOT
Bonnie is what made them notorious.
I've got to say, this format is so fun. Its like a field trip everytime.❤️☘️
Right...😊
Hello Lamont, I am totally! Agree with you, I’m sick of the what ever tried to make angles on these two’s evil monsters I’m glad you called them out ! 🙏 stay safe.
I don’t think they tried to make angles out of them,.. Maybe a square??
Thank you Lamont at large for telling a story about Bonnie and Clyde I waited for years to hear this Story.
Stay safe out there, and rock on, Lamont! 💜✌
You should do a story about Leslie Van Houten being released from prison. I think that's total bullshit!🤬🤬
@johnperic3765 🤣😂🤣
@johnperic3765 no 53 years not long enough the people she killed are still dead she should have served life plus 3 days .by that I mean life until she is gone and plus 3 days before her body realsed to a relative no 53 years isn't long enough
Yes
Texas is a rich and gorgeous state...So much buried history and cool towns
The part by the train is a scene from The Twilight Zone show "next stop Willoughby"
Cool
Fords 8 cylinder was Clydes car of choice.
He actually wrote a letter to Henry Ford complimenting him on his car. The letter is in the Ford museum ✌️
The " Great War" was WW 1....not WW 2
They were murdered in Gibsland, Louisiana. The last restaurant they ate is now a museum, and there's a marker at the spot where they were killed.
Thank you Lamont 🎉
Nice to hear from Max also 😊
Great video! Just want to correct sonething about the Travelers Hotel in Dension. It wasn't built by the railroad, it was built by Ernest Kohl in 1893 to house a saloon and grocery store. He added the top 3 floors in the early 1900's to house his family. It wasn't until the 1930's that it became a hotel.
I would be so grateful to be alive i would not sue.😅 Bonnie and Clyde are like legends. What they did was wrong
Great video as always !
This was a very interesting video. Enjoyed it very much and yes Bonnie and Clyde were just murdering thugs.
Fun, interesting video
Wow, that train was named the Katy? Now I know what that blues brothers song is about “she caught the Katy”
The railroad line was called the Katy. Some of the old trains had Katy on them. The location they were at where the train is, is the Katy Depot in Denison.
@@chrisgatlin9072 that’s cool
Not the airline fault for birds taking out engines. Act of nature can't sue the birds lol
People are greedy and they found a way to sue. I heard they got 180k each which is absurd imo
My cousin is the famous Frank Hamer and he was called out of retirement and he helped set up the ambush on Bonnie and Clyde.
That was an excellent movie! Much respect to Mr. Hamer.
@@kathleenadams4978 Thanks I really appreciate what you said and unfortunately I never met him in person but my dad did and he told me the story about my cousin Frank Hamer and how he came out of retirement because nobody could catch Bonnie and Clyde.
@@mikedaniel7195 My understanding was that was the only way they could be stopped without killing anyone else. Barrow was a difficult guy to trap. Twitchy man.
@@kathleenadams4978 Yes that’s very true and Clyde was not going to taken alive and that’s why everything happened the way it did.
Very nice! My grandma's cousin was H.D.Murphy, one of the two Texas highway motorcycle patrolman killed by Clyde and henry methvyn as Bonnie laughed! My grandma told me about it. Bonnie and Clyde were NOT nice people! Thank you to your cousin frank Hamer and the rest of the posse for stopping Bonnie and Clyde AND their gang!!!!
Thank you for calling it a "murder" scene. Sick of people romanticizing these psychos
Indeed sir, god bless Benjamin Maney Gault & Frank Hamer:)
I remember Sully landing in the Hudson like it was yesterday!!
Born and partly raised in Sherman, TX. I still call it my second home. My relatives still live there. I never knew about the fallout shelter so now I know where it is. The cemetery (West Hill) that you guys visited, half of my family is buried there and my grandmother who was laid to rest two years ago is also there along with my grandfather). I'm so glad that you and Max covered these forgotten stories, especially Woodmen's Circle. I definitely remember that place. Awesome video, Lamont!
I love the Bonnie and Clyde story!! Time to watch. Thanks Lamont!
Almost 100 years later and people still talk about them!!!!
@jefferyepstein9210 people will still be talking about them for the next 100 years, too, I'm pretty sure.
@@justcody85

You'll have too do more of these lamont with max adventures
As usual, Lamont, great job. Thanks.
Interesting and informative! Thank you both for sharing your adventure with us😊
Great collaboration, guys.
Love your shirt, Lamont! The color looks great on you.
Oh, I like going on informative field trips. I bet her son and stepson did it together to the poor woman. An old "case" needs to be looked into. May the Lord bring her some peace. More old pictures of those places would have been nice. Good work to both of the men for this video. Would really like to see more in different places. Mysterious places and things way back when. Thank you both.
This was brilliant very interesting thank you both of you. Keep safe keep well both of you.
So interesting town stories.thank guys.
I live in Sherman. Been living in the area for little over 10 years. Had no idea about some of the stuff you guys discussed in the video happening around where I live. Pretty cool to say the least.
Great video and alot happened in history. Bonnie and Clyde stuff too. I never watched their movies. They were rotten.
Hi Lamont if your San Diego check out the graves of Dan and Linda Brockerick the Cemtery Greenwood Memorial they were killed by Dans ex wife Betty Brockerick over 30 years ago.
Subbed max!
Thanks for coming to work today!❤️☘️
Hi Lamont 👋 HI Max 👋
Love the Phish hat Lamont. I've seen them 46 times!!
This was a particularly interesting episode. That Sanitarium! Nice. People automatically think Mental Institution or housing for the insane or "mentally challenged", whenever they hear Sanitarium, but that word includes TB sanitariums, of which there were a lot. At some point, it was determined that Tiburculousis was an airborne disease, and even if you were a child, once you were diagnosed, you were forcibly institutionalized. Once they discovered antibiotics, TB and Sexualy transmitted diseases were finally cured. Also, very interesting to hear that Clyde had a drug problem. I've read many books and watched several programs about them. Yes, Hollywood romanticized them and actually brought them out of obscurity with the Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway movie.
Hi Max and Lamont nice to meet you. Great video guys. Love it! Holly and puppy Brody from Delaware. 🐶
Goodafternoon Lamont & Guest.Very interesting 😊
Great Job as always! Hi Max! I will check out your channel!
Lamont those gorgeous blue eyes of yours are awesome 😉. But besides that i really enjoy your stories. Be well and safe on your adventures
Thanks Lamont for this story it was interesting good to here some interesting stuff😊😊😊😊
Welcome to my hometown…. There are way more stories and funkiness around here…
Ya Bonnie and Clyde definitely got what they had coming. But this was a really interesting piece. Especially the first UFO report recorded. And Yes Lamont UFOs now called UAPs are definitely for real
Hope you do a grave visit to Edward Gein. At least thanks to him we have movies such as silence of the lambs, Texas chainsaw massacre.....
And Psycho
@@kathleenadams4978 👍👍
Love this episode! And Willoughby is my favorite TZ ep. I will definitely visit Max. I also heard that one of Ike's descendants claims that he made a deal with the Greys. I don't know what we got, but they got the right to abduct people for experiments without us retaliating. That seems odd though since they are so far ahead technologically. What could we do to them?
Omg! Willoughby is mine too! 😊
Hi Lamont, what a brilliant video full of interesting information, thank you to your friend Max, he has lots of knowledge, just like you Lamont but on a different scale, thank you guys, take care xxxxx
Thank you Lamont and guest! Thank you so much for both of you telling the real story about Bonnie and Clyde because I honestly thought they were a normal couple who were in love! I had no idea they were the EXACT opposite until just now! Justice was indeed served for all of the victims they murdered! May all victims continue to rest peacefully and those evil monsters Bonnie and Clyde continue to burn in Hell! 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great video, you guys ought to do more videos together.
One of my old favorites, I'm sure many of my brothers and sisters of the true baby boomer generation can remember the song, Bonnie, and Clyde. It was an immensely popular song...thanks Lamont, once more, and again from the State of Michigan. Peace, 1776
Thankyou for this adventure ❤❤ great video
Is his name really Max? I didn't even realize I never knew his name... Just IC.
Maximillian or Maxwell? I hope the former but the latter is ok. First one sounds like an elite and the latter a working class schlub.
Great stories. Kudos to both of you. Thank you
The story about the alien and destruction, the movie the day the earth stood still was based on the story you just told, the version staring Michael rennie and patrica neal
I love that movie
@@DizzyKizzy64 ya me too
Hello Lamont.good to meet you max.
I really enjoyed this video. So much was talked about. Thank you Lamont.
Sooo enjoyed this video comb.👏👍🧐
Thank you Lamont for sharing !
Max seems like a nice guy.
Another great collaboration, Lamont. Thoroughly enjoyed👌👍
great story teller
Hi 🙋🏿♀️
I remember doing the fallout drills in school back in the 70's...
I remember that landing on the Hudson. Absolutely amazing!
Back in the 1980s when I was going for my LIC. To fly and was in contact with 2 airlines about my future career. They were making 150,000 a year. Unfortunately, I had family issues, was put in the streets as a teen. Led to me doing Auto repair, Plumbing, Tree service Lineman. And of course I did lots of other lines of work over the last 6 decades, when weather was bad. Life is a funny thing. No 2 people will Live or do things in life the same way, or see it the same light. Blessings to all.
Enjoyed it very much!
...I remember in 2nd & 3rd grades,in my small town,in South, Ga.( USA) we had to do to that type of preparations for tornados, nuclear fallout, get up under our desk,or line up against the hall,on our knees facing the wall, and the book we were told to grab,to cover our heads with said book...lol
I had forgotten all aboot that lil time in me childhood days .
I enjoyed this vlog. Max talks a lot. Hard for you to get a word in. But it was most likely nerves. Look forward to seeing you 2 guys together again. Love Ya Lamont~~~~~Sherry
My neck of the woods!! Olive Oatman is buried in that cemetery also. Love the video!!!
Great video and information, you 2 make a good team.
Great video., Full of history. I enjoyed this! Thank you!
Hello, I have to say very interesting stories in that town .Thank you for sharing. Take care
Live by the sword die by the sword!!
I have a book of crime stories from the county I live in and it's crazy how many murders/other crimes were moonshine related back in the 1920s 😂
Enjoyed this one. Good commentary and content. 👍🏼
That was a great movie yall!!
Thanks Lamont once again ❤
My old high school was 3 floors and the bottom floor was a fall out shelter. It has since been tore down 😢
Hey Lamont my granddad and my dad were both officers of the law I grew up listening to the stories of Bonnie and Clyde
Interesting information. I have lived in Texas all my life . Didn't know Sully was from Texas .
Morning everyone ❤
I always ment to scope out the car on way to Vegas at Whiskey Pete's but I never end up stopping
Thanks Lamont I remember when that plane ✈️ landed in the “Hudson”
