- Codenamed the HIND by NATO, this Russian attack helicopter is a deadly player on the battlefield with an array of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles, twin-barrel 30mm cannons, unguided rockets, and more.
Featuring cooperative multiplayer in the front and back seat, the Mi-24P will offer an even higher level of detail and accuracy than our critically acclaimed Mi-8MTV2 helicopter. The Mi-24P will add an all-new dimension to attack helicopter operations in DCS World.

You would really love the ka-50 it’s fantastic
If the hind interests you just wait for the Apache
This helicopter screams Soviet! So atmospheric, so moody, Cold War warrior.
Fantastic job ED team.
Well, I fel the notion of capitalist trailer with epic Hollywood music sort of was a bit over-American. Nonetheless, off to find my wallet.

Yeah, easier to tell if you pause the video, because then you can see the slightly janky foliage, but otherwise it's an uncannily good shot.
Look on DKS instagram for this excerpt without music, great sounds of helicopters!
Yeah DCS is really pretty if you have a graphics card good enough to let you crank up the detail. The new update fixed a lot of the frame skipping issues too.

Attack on Titan OST
They should get Hiroyuki Sawano to do a DCS OST
Looks great! Now all we need is a ground unit damage model that is actually effected properly by rockets! So that a group of soldiers standing in the open don't just stand there smiling at you when your rockets miss by 5 meters!
Fun fact frgments from S5 rockets explosions were not able to penetrate Mujahedden clothing back in Afghanistan. Do a research ;)
OFP2 rockets work great against infantry at the moment
@@LazzySeal Maybe part of my problem is when I fire lots of rockets my FPS drops to about 8 FPS becasue of all the smoke effects!
@@LazzySeal that sounds like BS
its true that on rocky terrain they werent as effective but i doubt they would be stopped by clothing
@@LazzySeal Ok, I did lookup some facts about smaller rockets like the S-5 that the Mig-21 etc fires and it seems they were crap. tickling the dookhi's (mujahedeen) heels was how soviet pilots described them. They only carry 1.1k of explosive warheads and are pretty under powered so Russia switched to 80mm rockets like the S-8 after the war in Afghanistan.
Even Hiroyuki Sawano can make the hind feel like piloting a gundam or attacking titans.
tbf AOT music makes everything feel like attacking titans.
The angle from the BTR gunner from 1:13 to 1:17 is awesome ingame cinematography. Awesome intro showcase for the Hind, and has only skyrocketed my excitement for the Apache. Awesome work ED 👍👍

The Mujahedeen fighters said they were very scared of the Hind more than anything that thrown against them during the Soviet Afghan war.
Agreed the Apache is a powerful fighter - but the hind is like a boxer that just doesn’t give up!
I don't know man, i'm a hind guy, but i wouldn't want to meet either in a firefight. I'd rather actually be faced with an Mi-24 with no thermal and limited gun mobility, than either an Mi-28 or AH-64, with AGM's, dumb fire missles, 360 degree gun mobility with thermal and advanced stabilizing gimbals, etc. In any case you're in for a bad day
