Halo Battle Royale: The FLOOD would be the circle that closes in đ±
I'd rather have a flood survival mode over BR.
ODST drop into the map, and Covenant or I guess Banished cruisers glassing the planet are the circle that closes. It's like Halo was made for it!
If there ever is a battle royal they should add optional alternative gameplay and live up to Combat Evolved once again. Dead players will become Flood Hive Minds and orchestrate the flood or be a flood controlled by other players. This will allow you to control ai as well. A hinderance would be limited actions when not being properly managed by another player. There should be an option to attempt to break away from the hive and then all the other hive attack you based on how well and discreet you are. You also literally couldnât walk except in the direction of the circle. (Unless your hive mind pays attention to you and lets you have more self control of movement. It can also grant evolutionary flood adaptions to the chosen players but a limit depending on how effective the flood is.) As a player progresses playing as the flood it unlocks Flood halo universe secrets and facts about the UNSC Covenant and any other species its ever encountered or vanquished. Forerunner Flood Archives. This way the game if the player wants has an outlet for more cannon.

This game really feels so good with the movement, the last halo I was serious about was reach and miss the custom games and infected game mode but I find the normal quick play to be more enjoyable.

I love stuff like this. I've been gaming for over 30 years but this is my first halo game because I've never really been into pvp or fps games.
Damn I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Something about two dudes just playing some Halo and chatting casually is so strangely soothing and enjoyable. PLEASE consider doing more of this kind of stuff with other content creators or even fans

@Jay yeah thatâs my issue. Iâm D4 rn and about 50% of the times I play ctf people quit before the game even starts. definitely annoying af and makes me not want to grind more. still a great game tho Iâm having a lot of fun

Okay, I have watched so many guides on this and everyone describes it differently. It finally clicked when you said, "right before you hit the ground" then I heard the spartans boots hit the ground. So now, right before I can hear the boots hit the ground in my head I crouch. Once I started doing that I can nail these slides everywhere. Thanks man!!
The no scoping with the sniper amazes me, Iâve been playing for 15+ years and I just donât get how the hell you are able to no scope headshot that consistently, the skill is on a completely different level
Act Man is definitely the guy to be buds with IMO.
Heâs not a pro player, but I feel like he totally understands (and actively tries to understand) the nuance between competitive and casual Halo and why those two things ARENT at war with each other.
I see people argue one way or the other like âRanked players are trying to ruin my fun by nerfing the Manglerâ and Act Man is like âHow about we just.. have good Halo for everybody?â

More is always better. We want the game to be healthy and to have a long life like halo 3 did, and for that to happen we need to be open to some changes. Infinite has a few major issues, but we're so close to having a perfect competitive and casual shooter game if they can pull it off. Fix the desync issues, add in forge, and make credits grindable. You do those three things, and I can guarantee the game lives at least 6 years easily. Add in a BR mode and other fun new additions, and that's even better.
I think Halo is the best type of game for balancing casual and competitive play as well because you donât even necessarily need to nerf guns.
Pro players think the Mangler is too strong? Cool. Adjust the ranked spawns on the weapon so itâs more rare. Doesnât affect casual play AT ALL. Thatâs whatâs really cool about not having load outs in Halo. You can nerf a gun by changing the way it spawns or the location of the spawns OR just not include it in ranked at all (gravity hammer and cindershot for example).
I think thatâs a cool way to have overpowered guns in the game without feeling like a clown fiesta at all times.

Yo lucid. Do you know about the slide boost jump in bottom pit from the box under br tower. You slide boost into the wall thatâs to the left of OV/AC if you were to look straight at it. If you time it right and jump right when you hit the wall it will pop you up right under the box you were using to get to c plat.

@13:08 you can see what is wrong with the beatdown and why it seems like youâre not getting it to register. In halo you typically collide with other players. In this game you can walk through one another, making it harder to get the beatdown kill

I loved the mangler but now I kinda hate it cause thatâs the only kills close range I canât avoid but Iâll just have to Evolve my Combat
Tried it and it Worked a couple times tho, but seems pretty hard that slide thing or is it harder on pc ? I seem to end up crouching alot after I sprint from something instead of direct speed slide.
I think the ranking system has some sort of secret not related to statistics sort of thing to it. Cuz I did poor statistically against lesser ranks didnât matter if won or lost I didnât drop at all but my team mates who were lower rank than I did drop. I am thinking itâs sort of a positional sort of are you surviving battles and putting shots on the enemy or are you sprinting around the map like a buffoon type thing.
I probably should have dropped from plat 6 tonight but I didnât. Might have had a tiny spec up or down but never anything significant. Idk why I put this here. I clicked this video hours ago and came back to CZcams after playing halo and decided to share muh thoughts

I got a question would it be far fetched for a new dlc map or power up where you can have like 2 or 3 charges of it where you can heal up much faster like stim shot in cod just instead its a power up?

large 24 hour war like Planet Side in Halo, that has pick ups and loot system on the battlefield. Regular Marines would make a good starting class also.

yeah, curbslide timing is pretty tight while dropslides are free with holding crouch. just keep practicing :)
Just spend an hour practicing and you will get it!

@@LucidTWW it turns out all i needed to do was switch crouch/slide from a paddle to a stick! now it is super easy. crouching mid fight is a little tougher to get solid aim tho so i will work on that. i am flying around though!
What are your keybindings/button layout?
Has lucid put out his full controller scheme? In particular, does anyone know what buttons he has mapped to crouch and use utility, and why? Thanks! I feel like doing super slides and fully utilizing equipment has been difficult to do consistently with a stock controller and relatively vanilla bumper jumper scheme but In wondering if theres any easy switchups that might help. I dont want to buy a pro controller if I dont have to, but Ill consider it. Gonna try to do the hcs open amateur, so if thats what it takes.
You either have to use a controller with paddles and map to those or play claw. Most pros Iâve seen use bumper jumper and have sprint/equipment mapped to their paddles and crouch/slide to left stick⊠or some variation close to that. I wanna say lucid plays claw tho, could be wrong.
