May I ask which Japanese classical guitar you have ever tried you like the most?

Hi, Leo. The best I have is Sakazo Nakade 3000SSS 1972, this Nobe has sometimes brighter sound and I like it very much, but all in all Sakazo is better. At other hand, I never tried Kohno, Yuichi Imai, Yukinobu Chai and many others. I have Yamaha GC-30A 1974, hi-end yamahas may be the best, but it is in very poor condition and waiting for big repair. Hiroshi Tamura P150 on its way to me, it should be great instrument. The best from lower price is Masaru Matano I think. I will upload review of it soon. But, after all, I think, that I still not found "my" guitar.

@@TrophyMove, I agree, regarding Masaru Matano as the best of the lower prices. His tops are well voiced and not over built and the craftsmanship is superb. I don't have high opinions of Hiroshi Tamura guitars. I have repaired quite a few of them and belive the craftsmanship and detail is lacking. His brother's guitars (Mitsuru) on the otherhand are very nice instruments. As for my favorite higher end Japanese guitars, I have a hard time picking, certainly the Nobe brothers are in the running.
