Excellent video and useful to us. We head south for a long road trip to Cabo and are happy to be reminded of why we do it and of the reality of life in what is essentially Mexico's Alaska. Can you imagine what you'd think of the USA if your first experience was the drive from Alaska?

What you should have done to be on the safe side is filled up San Quintin or El Rosario -

But 45 min before Guerrero negro, there is gas in Villa Jesus Maria - FYI

Ya our original plan was to get gas in El Rossario but we just passed through without thinking. Thankfully we had filled up in Ensenada so we had plenty of gas to get to Guerro Negro.

They say it’s something to keep agricultural pests out of the area but sometimes they don’t spray anything. Heard rumors it’s just water. 🤷‍♀️

It's faster and safer through highway {1|} rather than going to San Felipe through the Dangerous {5}, Don't make sense to me.

We have done each route multiple times. We like driving down Highway 1 when the weather is good and enjoy the views. San Felipe we enjoy for some great tacos on the Malecon.

Hi, we have an old GoPro as a “dashcam” and we have phone chargers for each of our phones. Rich also has a holder for his In Reach GPS. Thanks for watching.

I'd like to drive my RV from the California border crossing through Baja California. What's the best way to find RV camping spots along hwy 5?

We used iOverlander. It was great because you don’t need cell service to use the app once you download it in the states. It has filters for paid camping and free. It also has filters for propane, water, dump, tourist info and military check points.

You should just spray paint " Easy Target" in red on the side of your van.
