Wow, amazing sales! Congratulations! That Farrell's ephemera piece brought back so many memories! I grew up in Portland and we always did our birthdays there as kids in the 70s. They would have a giant bowl full of ice cream called The Zoo, with little plastic animals, and they would have the bowl on a stretcher and 2 guys would run around the restaurant with it, and they would have a siren going, which terrified me, lol! But it was such a fun restaurant!😊
I went to the Lloyd Center Farrell's for my 16th birthday. They made the poor pimply teenage boy give me a kiss! I was mortified and so was he! 😆Pretty sure we got the Zoo as well! Did you ever go to the Organ Grinder? That was my favorite place! I had my 5th birthday there and they brought out their discount Mickey and Minnie Mouse mascots and they scared me so much I hid under the table and wouldn't come out!!!
@@ToyAddict Oh my goodness, I can't believe they made him kiss you! Times sure have changed, haven't they? We lived in SW Portland, so we always went to the one in Raleigh Hills. Yes, I remember the Organ Grinder! Also, we would take my nieces to Chuck E. Cheese's when they were little and my younger niece was terrified of him, as are many poor, traumatized kids, I'm sure, lol!

Any chance I can make a request (haha, you're like, no actually), at the beginning of these vids you just scroll through the under $20/lower price/B&B items for just a minute (no commentary, just a quick scroll?)?? It's your video, so you can be like "No, Heidi, no I cannot" but I love seeing what you sold, I learn so much, and I have a penchance for paper, general ephemera, cards and such and a lot fall in that lower range. Pirateship.com has a rate to Canada that is $10 for up to 8 ounces, $13 up to a pound, and I think it is $17 for up to 2 pounds. Not great, but WAY better than the regular ebay rate. @@ToyAddict Jody, I make ZERO videos (due to time?!!), but from what little I "hear", I "know" enough to know that making videos can sometimes take plenty of time, and I'm grateful if your sold vids are once a quarter if that's what you have time and/or inclination for. Given the time element, even with no talk/information, a scroll of that low $ stuff is super interesting to me. But, I completely understand if the "overall viewer" doesn't care about the under $20 stuff and it's a no go. We have PirateShip (amongst a few others like ChitChats, NetParcel, etc) here as well.
