I have this in my RV it’s great, Will not wash jeans they’re too heavy for the motor but it will wash one regular size towel. Spin cycle is great.
Very thorough demo. It looks like a non-electric portable washer would handle more clothes with less noise.
There is a folding handle which she didn't show, this helps to pull washer up to full height, also helps to empty like a bucket!

I have the same machine. Her tips at the end are very useful. But this machine is a love & hate product. >>> PROS - 1/ compared to hand-washing with washboard… you save muscle power in the scrubbing movement and part of the wringing movements 2/ compared to hand washing…. you can limit the amount of time your hands are in contact with detergent & water (unless you wear gloves) 3/ When the machine is running, you can walk away to do other chores. >>> CONS : 1/ this is NOT a substitute for a real washing machine !! It’s only for washing underwear, delicates, light tshirt, or baby / toddler clothes. Some ppl don’t like to put those items in the normal washing machine for hygiene reasons. Some ppl here are like oh, I can use it in my apartment or RV…. please manage your EXPECTATIONS. 2/ ppl who say oh it’s good for traveling, eg can use in hotel room ….. well, even if you use it at home, you need to make sure the inside of the bucket and the drainage hose and drainage area HIDDEN in the bottom of the machine is fully AIR DRY before you collapse it and put back in the box for STORAGE. Otherwise you will have risk for MOLD or MILDEW. That’s why I just leave it out. I gave up the opening + collapsing + storage cycle long ago. Since I wash tiny stuff every other day, I just leave it out on the counter (after letting it drip dry upside down & air dry upsides) !! 3/ As for the process… don’t forget EVERY step of adding water, pouring out, re-adding water, etc is still MANUAL LABOUR !! And the rinse cycle may need 2-3 or 4 times depending on how much detergent you (accidentally) used !! 4/ Right, about rinse…. You still NEED to WRING OUT the soap suds EACH time before you add fresh clean water. Otherwise the SUDS will never be gotten rid of. 5/ For the SPIN DRY…. she skipped the part in the video obviously….. notice the clothes were NOT dripping water when she put it in the Smaller Draining basket!! Obviously she had to first MANUALLY wring out some of the water BEFOREHAND!! Trust me. I tried putting the 100% wet clothes in without any pre-human wringing…. the machine cannot spin out the water no matter how long you let it spin. >> So it may sound like a lot more CONS than PROS??? Well, yes and no. If you don’t do daily dismantling, just leave it out, and you learn what kind of clothing material and how much detergent to use…. and you learn how much to balance the manual labour vs machine operation…. Then as I said in the beginning…. you can MINIMIZE the amount of time your hands are EXPOSED to the water. But the TOTAL time needed, incl cleaning & wiping dry the machine, will definitely EXCEED the total time needed by using traditional hand washing. ➡️ In case ppl are interested, I still use the machine but less and less.

Thank you for such a thorough review! Am getting one soon. I live in a hostel-like building and I can send in my laundry to the lady any time but I don’t really like mixing in my undergarments because I don’t want it to get mixed up with other people’s clothes. Washing by hand gets pretty tiring after a while so this is a good alternative.

Thanks for this video. Have only recently started using the Moyu myself and I do agree that draining water from the top is simply so much faster! Do you find that the dryer mode works well? I have a feeling that wringing water out by hand might be more effective! 😂

In some occasions we have no other to go..!!?? In that situations we can use the same previous dirty shirt to be wash & dried .. again with clean shirt we can wear next day also ..
Those who are using in emergency time or in one day trip without carrying additional changing cloths.
Incase we miss the return flight to the destination for a business trip i.e. one day trip ..we must carry the mechine to resolve our next day dress problems.. Then we can get the fresh washed dress is ready to wear ..

This is good for only a VERY limited number of things - very thin/cheap fabric, underwear, socks, pet clothes, baby clothes, or doll clothes - otherwise it's a waste of money, energy (electricity), and time. Also may be good in a pinch if the little ones pee or poop on themselves while you're visiting someone and you don't have extra clothes - if you have this in the car you can pop em in the wash real quick.

Yes I have some white underwear and socks also some white summer shorts I have to do separately. It seems like a waste of water to do a regular load in my apartment buildings laundry room. This would be fine for that. Also probably good for RVers when they are on the road.
Those aren't denim jeans that's for sure. They'd be heavier. Is there something inside the washer that tells you the max amount to fill for water?

Bought one and am returning it. The spin dry function was bullshit. Clothes are still very wet after spin drying for 15 mins. Problem is with the weak motor

But there is no inlet to put water inside the washing machine in the first place? So how do you fill the machine with water? With a bucket? That's a hassle.
