So most of what I know is self taught...all it takes is practice man...relentless practice. You dont really NEED a teacher or to go to school....all they're gonna do is say "go play this at home, and come back to me when you can play it". At the end of the day music is something you learn on your own

Try to play hard songs that are above your level, stuff that challenges your fingers. Don't try to play anything the "easy" way
