    i kinda want an in depth talk about the weight painting + shrinkwrap technique you used in this vid by showing other examples for it because it looks really interesting

    a prectical exemple step by step for any hard car part could be really nice to well implement the concept. ty for the lattice technique with the wiper also

    Thank you so much, it was a great technique. I’m wandering how to assign different materials with the shrinkwrap modifier on? Wish for ur feedback. Thanks!

      Hello! I am happy you learned something from this video. As for assigning materials I don’t think that using the shrinkwrap technique changes much regarding that. Simply select the faces you want to have a material and assign the one you want.
      I may have misunderstood the question though so please let me know if that is the case!

      Personally I would like to see motocross panels possibly if you get a chance. Is there any way you can show us the full process of making lets say a set of motocross body plastics like the new 2024 Husqvarna EE 5 or the 2024 Husqvarna EE 2.
      What would be super awesome would be a full process of modelling the entire bike using these methods. Also I understand this would be time consuming to make but i would love to see this method being used in this way. I was mind blown when you dropped the first video as I literally was trying to solve an embossing using a boolean just last night funny enough. I think with your method this would be easier now. I just have to rewatch the video and try to work out my best method.
      Also feel free to drop me a private message as i have an idea for you man. Maybe you already know exactly what your doing but honestly I think I have an idea of something that would help you personally while also helping the community. Now normally I dont write in the comments or generally do this but your video deserves the time for me to make these comments. You gained a sub and likes. Keep the creative juices flowing and keep up the grind. 💯@baril3d

      Motocross panels sound fun! I will keep that in mind for a future video. For the entire bike I won't promise anything but who knows!
      As for the idea you have feel free to message me on Behance, discord or say it here I am curious to hear it

      Sure thing! What would you like the tutorial portion of the video to be like? Is it just me talking over the Timelapse or does the Timelapse go back to normal speed where I explain for a few minutes before speeding up again?

      @@baril3d it could be done like this. the whole Timelapse video, but when the important part (for example, setting up modifiers or textures (where you need to look at the screen) here I would like to slow down. and then the acceleration continues. Thanks for the feedback

    I have a question regarding rigging and opening doors that have the shrink wrap modifier to keep the clean surfacing of the targeted mesh. I’ve tried it in the past and it seems the get wonky if I try to open a car door that has the shrink wrap modifier on it. I’ve tried applying the modifier but I doesn’t seem to help. Is there any solution to this?

    • @baril3d
      @baril3d  Před měsícem +1

      Hey! Good question, unfortunately when you are ready to open your car doors and you want the clean surfacing you will need to apply all modifiers above the shrinkwrap (except the mirror which you can leave there)
      Then you will be able to animate your doors without issue

    why don't you use lattice ?

    • @baril3d
      @baril3d  Před měsícem

      You can use a lattice in certain scenarios but a lattice would not be very useful when you are modeling a complex object like a car body.
      Now I am not saying the lattice has no use for certain parts such as windshield wipers or grilles but for the modeling itself I prefer to use the shrinkwrap and basemesh method

      Yeah I moved to autodesk alias.Its not possible to model a car in blender. Takes so much time.and unnecessary modifiers need to be applied.

      @BillKermanKSP Před měsícem +2

      @@shahidahmedbhuiyanevan Truth is, most of these advanced modeling techniques are really not necessary and just waste polygons without end. Also, it's perfectly possible to model a car in blender just as fast as in Autodesk

    • @slavsit7600
      @slavsit7600 Před dnem

      @@shahidahmedbhuiyanevan the only modifier you need is just subd really, all these techniques are used to make your process easier, plus couldnt you say that to basically any other polygonal modelling softwares? they take a while because of the complex shape of a car and you cant really change that
