I love that Daebak show is somehow back to its season 1 format :) Yay! And I noticed that Eric tried to switch questions up a bit rather than the cliche questions to make the interview more dynamic and personal like instead of what's your favorite song in the album, it turned into like asking So!YoON!'s experience for her to share. First time hearing about her so I loved the fact that she got to talk about her music, craft, thoughts and experiences in this podcast. Thank you, Dive Studios. I felt that her answer(s) / interview is one of those that have most substance from an artist I’ve seen here.
You owe it to yourself to listen to "Smoke Sprite", I've listened to it every day (at least once) since it came out, it's gorgeous and addictive
She's such and interesting true artist! I deeply agree with her perspective on the creative process. It has to be meaningful to us before it's meaningful to the public.
She's so calm, sincere and smart!

getting to hear the story of how smoke sprite came to be and the actual meaning behind it made the song clearer to me, i was so lost at it at first too, i literally just walked out of my last class when the mv dropped, i analyzed the lyrics and i was going nowhere with my theories, i had completely different understanding of the term smoke sprite too 🤣 BUT WOW that's really really impressive, not only smoke sprite but also the whole process for her whole album. 😩💜

I'm so glad she and Eric talked about the balance. It's needed for everyone. Keeping health in check, resting property, a healthy balance of body, mind and soul is very very important.
I’m glad to get to know her through the collab because i not only love smoke sprite but i also found out what a talented person soyoon is and also how cool she is as an artist and as a person i totally understand why namjoon wanted to work with her. Also for a long time I’ve been hoping for RM to come on this show i hope he will magically see this comment and decide to come on here before going to military 🤞

I've been listening to Soyoon for months now. The collab with Lee Youngji had me lovestruck. Love your voice and aura when performing. I strive to become more like you when it comes to confidence and presence.

I know her from 'Shooting Stars' on SBS (celebrity womens soccer show) and then she was on the PSick show where I became a fan of her. Now seeing her on DAEBAK, this is awesome. I hope her album is very successful and the Korean rock scene continues to grow.
I'm very happy to see this episode be a classic DAEBAK episode rather than what we got with Hyolyn (who I also really like). The 40-90 minute long classic podcast style of interview and chatting I enjoy best. Some games at the end is fine, I can take or leave them unless they are particularly interesting, fun or funny.

what a great interview! se so neon's album "nonadaptation" was an anchor for me during the pandemic and i especially loved their live performances. was holding onto the hope of a collaboration with namjoon (since he's been a ssn fan) and we finally got it! the song is absolutely incredible and the entire album is a beautiful experience, i cannot get myself to stop listening to it. she is such an wonderful artist + visionary and i'm so happy we got to hear more about her & her music through this! 🖤
